The application of marine logistics to the JFK project is a smart, yet simple, solution to a complex problem. I liked that they made the video but wish they had showed/mapped examples of the other end of the water moves and how other parts of the region played a part.
The avoidance of consequential policy questions — obvious and often urgent policy matters — like immigration and Social Security, Medicare, Highway Trust Funds, etc. is a specialty of this President and Congress and prior ones with few exceptions. Wanted: Responsible leadership.

Washington needs a good power washing top to bottom. Five things I would do today to end corruption in Washington across all three branches of government:
1. Ban all stock trading.
2. Ban all participation in prediction markets.
3. Mandatory retirement at 75 years old.
4. Mandatory blind trust for individuals with a net worth more than $1 million.
5. Ban all foreign gifts to public officials, including foreign investments in their businesses or other entities.
