i was watching a video awhile back of kevin o'leary talking about why steve jobs was so successful
he explained snr (signal to noise ratio) and the interesting part was at that time - as he described - most people didn't understand it whatsoever
he knew most people running a business were thinking about visions for 6 months down the line or little things that were irrelevant
his advantage was knowing what to focus on for the next 16 hours and removing anything that made that more difficult - when he came back to apple he cut dozens of products down to 4
i've never been more certain this is the case for the majority (not all) of entrepreneurs in the ai bubble
most are so busy watching what everyone else is doing that it becomes the noise in their own work
then you've got the 5% of killers that present themselves as social/online but in reality they are lethally working 14 hour days while nobody's watching
all this to say: remove noise, and work becomes clearer, next steps seem more obvious and your skill - sales, product, growth, etc become more dialed
i bet 50% of saas companies are burning money by not having an inbound agent
typically i'll get a call or message the next day from a tool i was looking at
but at that point, i've lost all interest in signing up and found something else
timing is the most important part to inbound traffic
much simpler when you just have comms booking and closing all your leads for u
your leads didn't lose interest
you just took too long to reply

the next layer of software isn’t another app
it’s agents meeting humans wherever they already are
with omnichannel continuity across every interaction
nobody wants to hop around restarting context
all humans really want is an outcome achieved with the least friction
john just wants his subscription cancelled
stacy wants to figure out where her order is
steve wants to book an appointment while driving
old software is “old magic” because it’s become so familiar to use
there’s a whole new level of magic most people haven’t experienced yet
comms is the way we get there
People have been selling through SMS for decades...
Time to turn blue-bubbles into the new meta.

ai will kill more startups than it creates
not because it doesn't work. because it works too fast
you can build a company in a weekend now, so everyone treats companies like weekends
ship it. try it. doesn't work in >3 months. next
nothing compounds because nobody lets it
everyone's appetite for failure got shorter, and an advantage nobody has the patience for isn't an advantage
ai made starting free
staying is the moat
takeaway: give your work time to compound
