I'm building an ai agent with local graph memory and MCP tools. Amazing stuff. Everything seems that my app is talking with Kimi k2.5, but in response llm identify itself as Claude, made by Anthropic. Even if nobody asked about that and it was totally out of context! How to explain this?

Can be a solution for this be a smaller models, fine tuned with expert knowledge that compounds over time in order to keep it relevent and competetive?

The Frontier Lab flywheel is to get the smartest people to use the leading models. Then distill their inputs, your own model’s outputs, and resulting synthetic data and environments. And the people have to use the leading models because they’re locked in mutual competition.
