El consultor destacó que “México reafirma su pleno apoyo a la @CIJ_ICJ, la cual sigue siendo un pilar esencial del sistema multilateral y del Estado de derecho en las relaciones internacionales. Su labor es fundamental para la preservación de la paz, la seguridad y la justicia internacional, y para la realización de los motivos y aspiraciones que dieron lugar a la creación de las Naciones Unidas. La Carta de la ONU no es una abstracción. La vigencia de sus disposiciones sigue siendo apremiante. Y la Corte está ahí precisamente para recordarnos que, cuando la política y la diplomacia fallan, siembre hay una esperanza en la fuerza jurídica y moral de la ley.”
