So in this entire clip not once did either of these guys explain why it was “clearly Jayden Daniels fault”, or what they expected him to do. Then one guy proceeds to doubt Jayden Daniels being pro ready when drafted. Because he “scrambles a lot.” What a joke of an “analysis” #raisehail #nfl

Sources: The #Commanders are signing former #Saints  RB Devin Neal to their practice squad. A 5th-round pick last year, Neal totaled 310 yards and 2 TDs as a rookie.

A clear franchise player.
The most frustrating thing about yesterday was how much of a dog Jayden Daniels was. It'll be lost in the tie when it should have been the headline.

The most critical/important play of the 4th quarter was Isaiah Likely's TD. Never in my life have I seen the most important player on an opposing team's offense get 13 free yards!! On a 4th and 7!! Never in my life bruh, I swear.

After upsetting LSU, Kentucky is back in the AP Poll at No. 15! The Wildcats are also No. 17 in the Coaches Poll. Highest ranking since being 13th in Week Six of 2022.

The Commanders ran Cover 0 15 times against the Giants. 12 times in the second half. Jameis completed 6-10 vs. Cover 0 and threw 2 TDs.

Seen a lot about this already and it’s going to continue to be a debate. To me, it’s pretty clear what should have happened (and didn’t). The coach-to-QB communication in the headset cuts off at 15 seconds on the play clock. The best offensive coaches - Shannahan, McVay, Johnson, Coen, etc. - are coaching all the way up until that point. In the middle of the game, it usually goes playcall, which the QB is actively repeating in the huddle almost immediately, and then something to the effect of, “Lookout for X if they go man or Y if they go zone. They like to blitz in this situation so be on your hot. Don’t forget your leak out if the pocket collapses on your left.” Or whatever the coach can fit in. Near the end of the game or half, the play context changes to game context. “47 seconds left, no timeouts. Need 3 to win. Gotta get it out of bounds. If it’s in bounds you’re running a play, not a spike. Whatever you do, you can’t take a sack. Throw away is a good play.” The best play callers would NEVER let the QB go into the huddle without a game clock check and situational direction. Yes, QBs are supposed to be smart and have game awareness. Only like 3-5 in the league have that awareness without needing a coach. Hell, it’s the coaches’ jobs to manage the clock and end of game and they can’t do it. Why would you expect a QB to do that while actually playing and moving? The point is, if you expect the QB to do it alone you’re probably setting yourself up for failure. You’re the coach. COACH THEM. Should Jayden have been more aware today? Absolutely. Is he to blame? Yes. Is his coach more to blame? If he didn’t coach Jayden in his ear on the situational context, yes. To me, it’s the coach’s job to make sure his player is prepared. Jayden was not.
Jayden Daniels asked why he didn’t throw the ball away in the final play (and took the sack/let the clock run): “We’ve gotta relay that as an offense. It starts with everyone — top down. Ultimately it’s on me.”

Regardless of fault, Jayden learned a valuable lesson today. Hopefully this won’t happen again. He should not have been in that situation. Conversation for another day. You as the QB gotta have better situational awareness. Coaches didn’t help him out either.

That time they blew the Sean Taylor dedication game by calling back to back timeouts to ice the kicker that resulted in a 15 yd penalty that took BUF’s game winning field goal from 50yds out to 35 🙁
Hilariously the Commanders have done this multiple times over the past decade

My whole thing is, it’s OT. If you make the field goal, the game is over. Why try to run the clock? This whole damn division is comedy hour with coaching issues across the board.
The Commanders can't get the play off in time and this game ends in a tie

I’m in total disbelief my Commanders had such poor clock management in today’s overtime game against the Giants. All we had to do was kick the field goal and we would have won the game!🤦🏾‍♂️
