Jo & I have had amazing feedback on the book we launched this week. It's the first book either of us have written and it's really rewarding to hear that people are already putting the insights to great effect in their lives. And yes, the stories are real!!amazon.co.uk/Best-Us-Life-Le…

For 2 years I have been working on a book with the brilliant @johawleyUK . It has turned out better than I could have hoped. Stories from both our lives and lessons you can put to great use. We are making a donation to a youth charity for every book sold. amazon.co.uk/Best-Us-Life-Le…

NCS was a great concept but introducing such an ambitious programme whilst austerity was devastating local youth services meant it never reached it’s potential. NCS did help thousands. I'm sorry for the staff of NCS and for those young people who will never get the experience.

Labour closing NCS is spiteful to young people who benefitted but what makes me sad after spending years in opposition designing the project unthanked with @pauloginsky fending off crazy input from DC spads is that Govt saw it as a replacement for youth services not complimentary

Jo Hawley is one of the most amazing people I've met, a senior civil servant and polymath. When she suggested writing a book together I jumped at the chance. It's about how youth work skills can be used to best effect by everyone. We've just finished the editing @johawleyUK

Couldn’t agree more with John‘s comments. As the former chair of the Young Adult Trust - we looked at how to create the conditions with YP where they felt Purpose, optimism and belonging Glad there are many who share this view and want to do better with and by YP @pauloginsky

I have just finished reading the book 'From Prison to Palace'. It was written by my cousin Cat Willaims. This is the best book I have ever read. Funny, sad, educational and life affirming. It is a brilliant read and I highly recommend it to you. amazon.co.uk/Prison-Palace-U…
