So much of the critique of this Israeli govt focuses on the extremism and the personalities. There’s also the fact that it’s just truly terrible by the ordinary measures of good governance.

A story in two parts.
Last week the Irish Times put together an article titled: “Game over: Inside the ruins of Gaza’s football stadiums”.
It was the usual Hamas propaganda you would expect from the Irish Times. No mention of the “footballers” who are now confirmed Hamas terrorists. Confirmed by… Hamas.
And standard for the “genocide” allegations is that Israel caused damage to property. Like football stadiums. Never mind that Hamas booby trapped much of the residential areas of Gaza and filmed it for the world to see.
The second Gaza stadium listed by the Irish Times is Al-Yarmouk Stadium.
The main issue the Irish Times have with Al-Yarmouk Stadium is that the IDF detained Gazans there during the response to 7/10.
Now read what @afalkhatib posted on X yesterday re where Hamas is torturing their own people:
“I’ve spent days mapping where Hamas drags people for industrial‑scale interrogation, intimidation, torture, beatings, and execution threats. One site is steps from my childhood home in Gaza City, the el‑Yarmouk football stadium area in northern Rimal, between Sheikh Radwan and downtown.”
This is the state of the Irish Times. Truth is literally flipped on its head.
Hamas is using a football stadium as an interrogation torture center and the Irish Times simply won’t tell you this.
They will though report on Israel detaining Gazans during a war at this football stadium.
No wonder much of the Irish population is so clueless about Hamas’ War on Israel. They are being fed Hamas propaganda.

At PMQs, Prime Minister @andyburnham told the House of Commons that he condemns the Green Party’s ‘Zionism is Racism’ motion as antisemitic.
Burnham also said that the Labour Party cannot support a partnership with a party that holds an antisemitic position.

It's a strange claim by Netanyahu.
First of all, what kind of national security apparatus can only operate when the guy in charge is telling it exactly what to do? Is that what Bibi built since 2009?
