the most useful thing anyone ever did for me was refuse to replace me when replacing me was the obvious call i was late, my work was mid, i missed details. any person with an iq over room temp would have fired me, but they didnt that wasn't kindness. it was a bet. replacing someone is cheap and immediate, investing in someone is expensive and slow the hard part: potential and failure look identical from the outside. both look like missed deadlines and mid work. the difference is whether correction changes the next attempt most people who are good at something now were somebody's expensive bet earlier

lowkey the best thing that happened to me as a creative is working at an agency (ik) before, i was a freelancer and i was doing everything myself, but something about working alongside crazy talented people has taught me collaboration and infinite feedback can push you even further than you could alone i joined Shortscut not even 5 months ago and ive already changed the way i view my work and realized how OP extracting from others is

We just solved storytelling. Before starting my $40M ARR company, I jumped out of planes for a living. There were crazy stories everyday. But I posted none of them. @stanleybystan changes that. He tells your story so you can focus on the actual work. Try it now: getstanley.ai/r/dpark

one of my favourite videos to have worked on!!!
We’re announcing our $13.5M Series A led by @Standard_Cap. AI has taken over engineering and companies are wasting millions. Weave gets you the most out of every dollar spent on tokens. Have fun watching a man attempt to conquer his fears in the video.
