I enjoyed the bit where the mayor asks admin to provide an efficiencies update b/c clearly some councillors were not aware of the city's "continuous improvement" policy. Admin replies by saying they send out regular updates to council but they can send it again. #yqrcc
Council just voted 6 to 4 in favour of changing the terms of the Brandt/REAL Deal. Flores, Froh, Radons & Zachidniak voted against. (Screen capped quote says 7 to 4 b/c I misheard.)
Under new terms, Brandt will maintain & operate whole REAL campus for up to 20 years. #yqrcc
Note: Today's vote does not change anything at REAL right away. This just changes to terms the city can bargain from. A final deal has yet to be reached between the city & Brandt. #yqrcc
Prediction 1: We will end up regretting today's vote.
