If I click the Gemini button while viewing a private page that shows me API keys in plain text, is there a chance that someone in six months time might ask Gemini for an API key for that service and have mine returned to them?

In today’s least surprising news, @lastminute_com delivering awful customer service. Couldn’t be less helpful, everything is our fault, all whilst failing to deliver the service paid for. Avoid.

Counterpoint: going to the pub should have equipped us with the ability to handle the thoughts of absolute bellends.
We were never meant to have this much access to the thoughts of absolute bellends.

One of my rules for life is that I don’t use references from art or media, if I haven’t read/seen where it is derived from. E.g. I never reference “Big Brother” because I haven’t read 1984. I don’t talk about “Faustian Pacts” because I’ve not seen The Faust And The Furious films

Is… anyone still here? I’ve come back to plug the website I’ve just built. countycricket.live All the official YouTube match streams on one page with score summaries. If you like #cricket I think it’s worth a look.

Yes, airlines/hotels use dynamic pricing for yield management. In a lot of circumstances, people can choose different dates/providers in response to those prices (which are displayed up front when you search). Not at all equivalent to concert tickets.

If a band wants to charge £350 for standing tickets, I suggest that they should just have the bollocks to say that publicly. Not manipulate people into a high pressure decision to spend after hours of building tension with avoidable queues. PB x

How surprising that the Gallaghers didn’t tell everyone they were using the Ticketmaster greed switch when they announced the ticket prices earlier in the week.

Not in the top 200 results. I consider this a success, not a failing.
Go Google your name. If you're not the top result, you have work to do. Especially if you're giving conference talks or whatever.

My guess is - that’s possibly quite a bold statement from the Los Angeles Times

Football is a simple game. Twenty-two men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the G̶e̶r̶m̶a̶n̶s̶ English always win. All the best for the final on Sunday, England! #EURO2024

Does anyone know when Rishi is going to be giving his last speech? I want to pop to the shops, but I don’t want to get caught in a shower.

A lot of people are going to have to learn how to spell “Keir”. #keir #kier

The BBC were getting ready to cut to her concession speech, and she just walked off. Perfect.
