WOW Forever Beta made me theme the team meeting with @Warcraft refs.
Should I take a break ?
(thx Opus 5.5 for the swift design update)
3 things I've stopped tracking as a GM:
โ Slack response time
โ Hours my team works
โ Features shipped per quarter
3 things I track instead:
โ How many users we actually talked to this week
โ How many decisions we reversed (and why)
โ How fast we killed bad ideas
Outputs lie. Inputs don't.
Finally @TweetHunterIO is showing the Auto-delete feature progress !
Do you batch your content or write in real time? I go back and forth and still can't decide which is better.
Building a product for X creators taught me something: the platform changes constantly but the fundamentals never do. Be useful. Be real. Be consistent.
Hot take: the people complaining X is dead are the ones who stopped putting in the work. Reach is up for anyone actually posting quality content.
What's one tweet format you've tried that flopped? Sometimes knowing what doesn't work is more useful.
The first few engagements on your tweet matter exponentially more than the rest. Post when your audience is actually online, not when it's convenient for you.
Solopreneurs: X is the only platform where one person can build distribution that rivals a marketing team. No ad spend needed. Just show up.
One lesson from serving thousands of creators: the ones who grow fastest aren't the best writers. They're the most consistent ones.
Follower count is a vanity metric. I've seen 3K accounts outperform 100K accounts on engagement rate. The algorithm rewards resonance, not audience size.
Indie hackers: building in public still works. But share the lessons, not just the numbers. People connect with the thinking behind decisions.
X's algorithm decides your tweet's fate in roughly 30 minutes.
After that, you're fighting exponential decay.
The half-life of a tweet is 360 minutes. After 24 hours, it's basically invisible.
Here's how to win that early window:
The 30-minute checklist:
โ Post at peak time for your audience
โ Respond to every reply within 15 min
โ DM 3-5 people who'd genuinely find it useful
โ Engage with others' content before and after posting
โ Never post and disappear
I put together a timing guide broken down by niche โ tech, marketing, finance, creator economy, and more.
Includes the best posting windows and a 30-minute launch checklist.

Stop chasing likes. They're the weakest signal in X's algorithm.
The real weights:
Like = 1x
Retweet = 2x
Bookmark = 20x
Reply = 27x
Reply where you respond = 150x
Your reply strategy matters 150x more than your like count.
The reply formula I use:
โ Add something they didn't say (data, a contrarian take, personal experience)
โ Ask a specific question, not a generic one
โ Share a relevant number or result
This starts conversations. Conversations trigger the 150x weight.
I wrote up the full strategy as a step-by-step playbook.
Who to reply to, when, what to say, and how to turn replies into followers.
