I’ve never had a movie occupy my thoughts post-watch as much as You Can See Everything.

Nathan Fielder Was Not Supposed to Be in ‘You Can See Everything’ indiewire.com/features/inter…
If Ty Burrell stars, I am willing to give it a chance.
A reboot of the hit 1990s sitcom “Coach” is in the works at NBC, with “Modern Family” star Ty Burrell set to executive produce and potentially star.
The logline reads: “A legendary coach returns home to Minnesota to rebuild his alma mater’s basketball program and reconnect with his community.”

I’m going to try to rewatch some CI. I’ve never made it particularly far when I try to binge rewatch, so I make no promises.

i think getting the opportunity to campaign for best supporting actress for a role in a documentary is really awesome. art is so cool and shouldn’t be bound by any expectation or limitation.

the issue a handful of people seem to have with You Can See Everything is they’re expecting it to be like a true crime documentary when it’s actually a character study
Would you lie to this man?
EXCLUSIVE: Nathan Fielder, codirector of the Elizabeth Holmes documentary ‘You Can See Everything,’ sat down with WIRED for an extended interview—the first he’s given to discuss the film.

Agree with this. I think he knows she's lying the whole time (he would've known the facts of her case, and she's clearly lying throughout the movie), but he's fascinated by how she lies to him and how she gets to him anyway.

Fielder and Oppenheim were aware of this, otherwise they wouldn’t have waited so long to release it. The film isn’t about that, it’s about examining why Nathan, and by extension we as an audience, are so easily taken-in by someone we absolutely know we shouldn’t be

YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING could not be less interested in debating “is elizabeth holmes guilty of her crimes” (very obviously is) so naturally people on this platform are talking a lot about that
