In June 2023, Alabama completely replaced the playing surface and drainage system at Bryant-Denny Stadium for the first time since 1991. Alabama AD of Sports Grounds Jonathan DeWitt: “It’s a sub-air system developed in Augusta National where the Masters is played. They have a lot of units under their greens. Both the NAM and RDPS weather models have sped up how quickly Isaias moves through Alabama on Saturday in their latest runs Wednesday. Both models have the storm well past Tuscaloosa by kickoff time Saturday night.
