Detroit media might be the worst in the country. Virtually none of their TV or newspaper reporters care about who El-Sayed surrounds himself with.
Fox 2 here frequently hosts Osama Siblani, the powerful El-Sayed ally who calls Hamas and Hezbollah "freedom fighters." nitter.cf/ClippingWings/status/2…
FOX 2 Detroit reacts to the El-Sayed & Rogers debate
Somehow it deteriorated into the Muslim Brotherhood. What does that have to do with anything?
It's one thing to have that come out of an advertisement—It's another thing for your opponent to accuse the other guy to his face.
I think that we deserve better than that kind of campaigning.

He opposes state vote ID laws
In the 2018 governor's race, he advocated for an open border ("open our doors to refugees")
He opposes cash bail
He's a shoplifter's best friend. He opposes policing for "petty crimes"
He supports defunding the police. He deleted his tweet but CNN found it
He supports repeal of the 2nd amendment

Haven't been this mad over a media piece in a long time.
We know that, in one case, Hamas terrorists executed 6 innocent hostages in Rafah tunnels. Diamond and his team disgustingly attempt to blame those deaths on Israel here because the military was searching nearby.
"I expressed outrage on behalf...asked that any body camera footage of the shooting be released to the public so we can establish the facts and get to the truth."
First comes the outrage. Then comes a determination of what happened and whether the shooting was justified to see if we can sustain the outrage or otherwise move on to the next opportunity to dissemble and demagogue.
Tonight, I spoke with President Trump and DHS Secretary Mullin about the shooting in Marble Hill.
I expressed outrage on behalf of New Yorkers and urged them to halt ICE enforcement operations in New York.
I also asked that any body camera footage of the shooting be released to the public so we can establish the facts and get to the truth.

A good-faith question: what does "Free Palestine" mean?
Looking at recent peace proposals, it seems to break down to: let at least the more prominent part of Palestine become an INDEPENDENT anti-feminist...Islamist...terror state run by Hamas. Looking at historical election data, we'd see voting about every 21 years.
Does this appeal to you?

We have a problem that goes far beyond college kids being anti-Israel. They are fundamentally anti-western civilization/free markets. This isn’t due to their experience, but a continuous indoctrination and ideological subversion at schools and on social media that has caught up and created a serious risk to America’s future.
Either we take this threat seriously and engage in a real effort to completely reform the education system, or we will condemn America to a bleak future.
“The survey of over 800 undergraduate students across the country found that students say they prefer socialism to capitalism by a 42 to 28 percent margin. Separately, more than one in five—22 percent—say America deserved the 9/11 attacks,” via @freebeacon - freebeacon.com/campus/americ…

If Israel was the barbaric, genocidal nation it's made out to be you'd have scenes like this from Israel when Palestinians are suffering.

“We are not all right.”
I said those words in the days after October 7, 2023. Three years later, we are STILL not all right.
We remember the children, parents and grandparents murdered by Hamas. The young people who went to a music festival and never came home. The families whose pain does not end when the anniversary passes.
And we are not all right when antisemitism spreads like wildfire, too often fueled or excused by government officials who have a responsibility to confront it. We are not all right when Jewish families live in fear and those entrusted to protect them look the other way.
It is more important than ever to stand up, speak out and fight this hatred. Silence cannot be our answer.
To my Jewish brothers and sisters: Your fight is my fight. I am your brother. I stood beside you then. I stand beside you now. And I always will.
May the memories of those we lost be a blessing.

Other reasons to oppose Abdul:
He proposed doubling the state income tax, from 4% to 8%.
He supports a Universal Basic Income.
He said, "You don't have to pay anything" for Medicare for All.
He's called for tuition, childcare and early childhood education to be "free."
He's says he's not a socialist. He is. He's a big government socialist.

The people who showed extremely poor judgement and couldn’t recognize the demonic and hateful direction of people like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson probably should take some time to reconsider assumptions instead of lecturing the people who saw where those trains were headed.

On Wednesday, I traveled to the Pnyx, a hillside overlooking the towering columns of the Acropolis in Athens.
There, I delivered a simple message: The West is at a crossroads. The decisions we make in the next decade will define the next century.

Rubio knows what time it is for the West. Fight or die o’clock.
.@SecRubio: "It has become fashionable today to believe that enlightened foreign policy means prioritizing the global community over one's own people. Here too, we have much to learn from the men of ancient Greece — because they knew that there was nothing selfish or wrong about loyalty to your nation, nor anything selfish or wrong about fighting to defend its interests above all else."

Excepted from a report by Tim Hecke of CWB Chicago
An innocent man driving home from work stopped at a red light at Clarendon and Irving Park Road when two men, Kenneth Menard the father and Nicholas Menard the son, pulled up next to him on motorcycles “aggressively revving their engines”
When the light turned green the innocent man accelerated to get away but they followed him to a second red light then Nicholas approached his car from the passenger side and shattered the window. The dad approached the car from the driver’s side and the victim opened the door to try and push him away
Nicholas the son then came around to the driver’s side and allegedly struck the motorist in the head with a metal peg.
Prosecutors said the victim temporarily lost his vision and believed his skull was fractured and his hearing aids fell out.
He received 20 - 25 stitches for a laceration on his forehead
The motorist pulled out his phone and photographed both men while yelling for help as the Menards fled on their motorcycles
Nicholas Menard was on pre-trial release per the SAFE-T ACT and he and his father have been charged with attempted murder
Nicholas Menard is the 11th person accused of killing or attempting to kill someone in Chicago this year freed to return to the streets per the SAFE-T ACT
What more can JB Pritzker and the Springfield Democrats do to destroy the quality of life in Illinois before you Cook - Lake - DuPage - Will - Kendall - Kane - DeKalb county voters finally wake up and vote them out of office?

Social Security was sold as a program offering retirement annuities that American workers would buy for themselves.
FDR called the 1935 Act “compulsory contributory annuities.”
The Senate Finance Committee chairman said the worker would know “he himself is providing for his old age.”
The government’s own poster promised “a monthly check to you for the rest of your life.”
The sales pitch was successful, culminating in Congress passing the law that created the Social Security system.
Then when the government’s lawyers went to court to defend the program’s constitutionality, they told a very different story.
In Helvering v. Davis (1937), the Supreme Court—essentially adopting the government’s reasoning—upheld the program as a tax and a spending scheme.
Writing for the Court, Justice Cardozo explained that the payroll taxes go into the Treasury “like internal-revenue taxes generally, and are not earmarked in any way.”
The 1935 law left Congress at liberty to “alter, amend, or repeal” any part of it.
In 1960, the Court closed the loop in Flemming v. Nestor.
Benefits are not property and not a contract.
Paying the tax does not give you an account the government cannot touch.
Congress, in other words, can change the deal at any time.
That’s quite the bait-and-switch maneuver.
Social Security was sold as an annuity.
Then it was defended and upheld by the Supreme Court as a tax and a benefit—one that the government can dilute or modify at will.

Today is the most important day to clearly state that the “Israeli genocide” lie is both a deliberate, appalling, ahistorical, anti-factual smear — and also textbook antisemitism. Let me explain
The Hamas-run “Gaza health ministry’s” own data debunks this lie. Of the ~73,000 deaths in Gaza since the onset of the war, which was started by Hamas in a shockingly vicious terrorist attack, launched with genuinely genocidal intent, tens of thousands have been combatants/military aged men. This strikingly low combatant-to-civilian ratio is an achievement by Israel, which took pains to warn civilians to get out of the way of bombs in advance, paused fighting to inoculate Gazan children, and sent gargantuan shipments of food and other aid into the territory during the war. These are not the actions of a genocidal force. They are the opposite.
This achievement is particularly laudable given the enemy’s evil policy of launching terrorist operations from civilian neighborhoods, schools, mosques and hospitals. Hamas puts its own civilians in grave danger, on purpose, as a strategy. And it’s fairly successful because they know — despite the slanderous talking point pioneered by their stooges around the world (even starting while the Jews were still counting their dead) — that Israel is NOT willing to purposefully commit mass atrocities, let alone genocide.
That word, “genocide,” has been utterly abused and obliterated of meaning, as a propaganda weapon against Israel. It does not apply to this conflict, certainly not to the Israeli side. But accuracy isn’t the point. Inaccuracy is the point. The word is wielded as a justification for every despicable act of the sick “pro Palestine” movement (which almost entirely ignores the brutal mistreatment of Palestinians by Hamas; a tell). Every time a Jew is spat on, a synagogue protested or attacked, a hostage poster ripped down, a Hebrew-speaking person berated, a soccer team shunned, an event disrupted, a Hanukkah celebration shot up, etc. it’s excused or rationalized or minimized by the “genocide” lie. It’s an anti-moral permission slip, and it’s been revealing who’s taken full advantage of it. They’re almost always people who can’t even feign concern about far worse treatment of various populations around the world. Including Muslim ones.
Which brings us to the antisemitism, which is undeniable and obvious to so many of us. But because countless, gross 10/7 statements issued by terror sympathizers, cowards, and ignoramuses insist on repeating the “genocide” lie, while also insisting it’s not about Jews (but rather “Zionists,” the other side of the anti-moral permission slip coin), it must be spelled out:
One of the core, black-and-white definitions of antisemitism is the erection of double standards exclusively against Jews (and yes, this includes the one tiny Jewish state—the only country in the world over which there’s a constant and loud debate over the legitimacy of its very existence…even though it’s been firmly established for many decades & was enshrined in international law, for those who at least pretend to care about such things).
Lying about “genocide” and applying a novel/changed/invented quasi-definition of it (“look at these buildings!”) *only* to the Jewish state, for the purpose of demonizing/isolating/delegitimizing the Jewish state is straight-up antisemitism. On top of being a lie—things that so often go hand in hand.
Reject the lies and reject bigotry. Or at a minimum, have the decency to stop flattering yourself as a good, brave person who’s on the “right side of history.” You’re actually on the wrong side of history, a modern-day heir of dark and ancient rituals of ugliness, scapegoating and deceit.
