let me take this opportunity to point out again that the VB live debugger was the best ive ever used: you could drag the execution point up above a loop, rewrite it live & then step through the new code
no compiling, no visible reloading, no build chain
pure, unadulterated flow

can you just have the courage to admit your original post was dumb, instead of scolding people for not properly probing the depths of your ignorance in their response?

@elayarson somehow still not getting their proper due for the single most prescient take on @elonmusk $Tesla and #Cybertruck — #billionaireboyfriendceo
I made an album in 2020.
It was a warning to you all that the Cybertruck, when imbued with any amount of artificial intelligence, will crave violence.

hey, stop what you're doing right *now* and hear my music in this trailer!!
Also admire the beautiful art, game design, and gritty cyberpunk aesthetic from the mind of @HmTervapuro . He's amazing and I am so lucky to contribute to his vision

Amazon will increase charges for POD books in June (details at kdp.amazon.com/en_US/help/to…; typically US$4/pbk, US$10/hbk).
Like many authors, I’ll have no choice but to pass these increases on to readers. So if you were thinking of buying any of my POD editions, sooner is cheaper.

An evolutionary system requires (1) a means of generating variation, (2) a means of selection, (3) a means of transmitting generated traits.
Mode collapse is a failure mode for generative AI, a loss of variation in outputs.
Mode Collapse is out today!

how submithub works: artists make playlists w/their own songs, run social media ads for them, then use the money they make from submissions to pay for the ads. they reject a high percent of subs b/c they need most slots on the playlist to be bigger artists (b/c algorithms!)

I think you might like the style of the music in V/H/S, @pattern_shift it is not exactly synth-wave but there's heavy elements. Kind of a mix between synthwave and IDM/braindance + old Japanese cyberpunk movies. More glitchy on the combat tracks.

I'm researching space rocket history (from Saturn V to Starship) for an upcoming conversation and am once again struck with awe at what we humans have invented and built in the last ~100 years.
It gives me hope for the future of humanity. I love great engineering.
