#SteveKekane 20th June 2021 Venue Africafe Maponya. I was privileged to share his last artistic moments with the legend. He gave us a resounding farewell. Only that we did not know. Salutation son of the soil.

Securing a supply of the vaccine for South Africa as soon as possible should be governments number one priority right now. It is unacceptable that government’s tardiness is jeopardising our access to the vaccine.

@distellgroup Tavern GBVF Dialogues allowed participants to share lived experienced on GBVF. Rape, Murder, Mutilations, toxic cultural beliefs demeaning to women inspired the formation of Distell GBVF Tavern Forums. We will be working together to write a new page on GBVF.

Khuluma Ndoda Tavern GBVF Dialogues in the Eastern Cape created a platform for men to express the hurt a deep sense of loss at loosing their girlfriends, family members to GBVF. The hurt of seeing men perpetrators of femicide roaming freely. Tavern GBVF Forums were established.

Expanded Public Advocacy Program
#ItooAmVatiswa I suggest the following to kick start the conversation. 1: Commissioning - SABC to set up grades for artists salaries. 2: Ministry of Arts/culture, DTI, & DSD to add to commissioning budget. 80% artist salaries & 20% to Productions.

#ItooAmVatiswa let the actors speak out. This will help establish the facts about the industry and the treatment of actors. The love for the arts and the signing of autographs at malls does not pay hospital bills.

It is worrisome for Bona Magazine to suggest that Vatiswa story and those of other artists could be misleading the industry. Maybe as leading magazine you should suggest and facilitate an "Open Indaba" on the matter.
