For the past three days, Grade 5 students have been asking my Principal and I if they can sing the “perfect song” when Superintendent @patrika54 visits @RedWillowPS - today they sang Count on Me in its entirety for her.
Proud to showcase our Ravens’ excellence. @PeelSchools

After the year you’ve had, a year like no other,
Goggles and masks making you feel you’d smother,
A year you zoomed and teamed, pivoted and shifted,
Trying to help all those who had drifted.
After a year such as this,
May your summer be pure bliss! – at Mississauga, Ontario

Thank you to @ZohrinM for beginning tonight’s #DawsTownhall with the Land Acknowledgement.
She speaks of colonialism & reminds settler immigrants to preserve the land & pay respect to its original stewards. Passionately shares the why behind acknowledging the land.
