This is gonna be fun! Come hang out if you're in SF. 👋
if you're in SF, come join us next week for a fireside chat with awesome design engineers @willdjthrill @seanfurr and @patrickzachar
grok bot is so insanely fast now, I've been using it more and more every day. Ggs @poteto
Three days in SF and I’m already texting friends “we need to move here” 😂 Yesterday: hackathon demos, YC introductions, then a rooftop full of founders. The distance between building something and meeting someone who can help feels ridiculously short here.
RESET THE LIMITS
pls @trq212 😂
going straight into prototyping these days instead of spending much time mapping out flows
i'm finding it way more efficient to test the full flow, spot what breaks, and figure out what's missing, rather than staring at a blank canvas
Yesterday at 5pm, we discovered OpenUI by @rabi_guha 👏
By 7pm, we had an approved PR using it on real Productboard use cases.
We had tried A2UI before, but this is magic.
We went through three ways to prototype @productboard changes before one stuck.
Lovable: fast, not real. Recreating our UI in Claude: closer, still fake. Prototyping directly on staging: real, but too many dependencies to move fast or simulate actual scenarios.
So we built Studio Labs. Mount the real production components, layer a small change on top. You can recreate flows, simulate scenarios, develop net new functionality and even refactor old components really quickly.
Now we're rolling this out internally to the rest of the org, not just designers and feedback is great.
Replying to @patrickzachar @productboard
Quick demo of our HITL component. This is a real component, not a prototype or a demo. We can also display it "in action" inside the real Productboard UI.
one thing I brought back from @figma Config was a realization, that a lot of product designers are calling themselves design engineers now.
Some rightfully so, some not so sure. 😅
product managers, what's the one thing that's taking you most of your time right now?
non-pms, what's the one thing that's the biggest black box for you when it comes to PM work?
friday 6pm and SF WeWork is still busy. Hustle hard culture is strong here. One guy is prompting on two Macs at once 🔥😂
we released Spark. in short, it's the Cursor for PMs. But it's not that simple, and it's not just for PMs.
Anyone who's a maker, Spark will be you co-pilot making sure you don't just ship fast, but ship right.
Opportunities, codebase analysis, specs, post-launch evals and so much more + everything 100% multiplayer. So no figuring out how and when to share, this happens natively.
No need to learn new tools, you can connect them to Spark.

Before @figma Config takes over SF, we’re getting the AI design crowd around one table.
@productboard x @modeinspect are hosting an intimate pre-Config dinner for designers building with AI inside real product teams.
No panels. No slides. Just sharp conversations over dinner and drinks 🍻
