.@xingjian1996's father #XingWangli, was transferred from Zhumadian Prison to Sanmenxia Prison on 20 August 2026. On 20 Oct 2026, when his family visited him in prison, he was made in a surrender position as he was scratching his itchy skin. He's forced to work for over 15 hrs.

作为八九学运的参与者，我为他们欢呼！今年四月底我刚刚去塞尔维亚访问当地青年组织，也和抗议政府的学生有互动交流。
这支从2024年诺维萨德火车站雨棚坍塌惨剧后的抗议中成长起来的力量，将反腐败、争取问责的街头呼声化为选票。武契奇政权长期与北京关系密切，与习近平共建所谓“中塞命运共同体”。学生们以坚持和勇气证明：强权并非不可战胜，年轻人能够改变国家的未来。
祝贺塞尔维亚学生赢了！中共政权少了一个“老朋友”
今天的议会选举中，「学生名单」拿到约 52.7% 的选票、250 席中的约 140 席。武契奇当晚亲口承认：「我们输掉了这次选举。」各地街头随即响起歌声和汽车喇叭声。
这场运动起于 2024 年 11 月诺维萨德火车站雨棚坍塌、十多人遇难。车站改造由中国国企承建，学生追问腐败、要求问责，一坚持就是一年多。
武契奇是北京在欧洲最亲密的伙伴之一，把两国关系称为「铁杆友谊」。中资大举进入塞尔维亚的矿业和钢铁业，华为的监控系统也装进了贝尔格莱德。
今天，塞尔维亚年轻人用选票证明，和独裁者结盟的政权并非不可战胜。向勇敢的塞尔维亚学生致敬！

Today, HRF shines a light on human rights defender Dr. Mahrang Baloch. She is serving two life sentences in Pakistan for her advocacy on behalf of the Baloch minority, who have faced enforced disappearances, torture, and killing.
Writing from prison, Mahrang describes her work as both deeply personal and collective:
“I do not consider my own suffering separate from the suffering of my people. My greatest concern has never been simply when I will walk out of this prison. It is when families across Balochistan will no longer have to search for their disappeared loved ones, when young people will be able to express their political beliefs without fear, and when the demand for justice will no longer be treated as a crime.”
HRF demands that Pakistan release Mahrang Baloch and echoes her vision for a society where all people can live freely, without fear:
“I remain convinced that fear cannot be the permanent foundation of any society. Prisons may confine individuals, but they cannot permanently contain the desire for freedom, dignity, and justice.”
