Donald Trump posts that “a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again”, referring to Iran and implying total annihilation. His remarks have provoked widespread outrage, even among right wing commentators like @megynkelly, @TuckerCarlson, @RealAlexJones,
and @FmrRepMTG . Without even scanning social media, this must have provoked thousands or even millions of negative reactions from the center and left. We need to put the brakes on this, and restoring checks on the President through Congress is one of the best ways to do it.
