That name is really close to @plataformatec
SQLite is the most used database in the world, and its biggest weakness has always been the same: it runs on one machine, and if that machine dies, your data is gone. The usual fix is Litestream, but that's a Go binary you have to babysit. So we (@platformatic) rewrote it in TypeScript.

Stafford Beer‘s work seems more prescient than ever

I have to say boat.dev is really delivering. I am running 1000 CPU/hrs of VOPR style tests across 50 machines in 5hrs for ~$10. It would have been painful to setup those VMs elsewhere. Well done @AniC_dev

Watch the EU Notary Lobby celebrate amendments by @EP_Legal rapporteur MEP @repasi to EU Inc. The Notary Lobby: "Repasi’s amendments go fully into the right direction." (art 14, etc) Instead of a 48-hour digital setup, EU Inc is about to get all the red tape it was designed to fix. Against the wills of Europeans. Against the spirit of EU Inc. Watch it. Repost to stop the crippling of EU Inc. Speak up. We need a notary-free EU Inc.

On the list of amazing things that are also illegal in Bavaria
You can just turn a garage into a mini datacenter. This was a 1 week project if you have carpentry skills.

This is really fun so far! Having an agentic OS is a game changer. I just talk through voxtype and claude fixes everything that bothers me. Has setup 10bit graphics for the display. Created a one dark pro system theme already, imported the Berkeley Mono font, etc

Claude keep calling me "the founder" in it's reasoning. What's that about?

Introducing MorphoHDL, a minimal language prototype for growing boolean circuits! paradigms-of-intelligence.gi… Early this year I wanted to design a size-agnostic graph rewrite rule system that could build functional boolean circuits. First I thought about "chemistry"-like reactive systems, but rules were too complicated with many different node types carrying multiple indices... Then I realized, that cell division is much more natural way of building complex structures, and once I started to treat graph edges as buses instead of single wires, everything clicked. No new formalism — just taking good old recursion and seeing how far I can push it. Ripple-carry adder, Brent–Kung adder, multipliers ... and some Haeckel-esque creatures along the way! Hope you enjoy the report of my journey and the demos.

And resetting weekly limits? 🤞
We're extending Claude Fable 5 access on all paid plans, as well as keeping Claude Code’s weekly rate limits 50% higher, through July 19.

May Europe one day wake up and start striving for this level of capitalistic homerun. Dump the degrowth nonsense, celebrate progress, and once again reach for the stars.
Elon Musk just created ~5,000 new millionaires, current and former $SPCX employees. Of those ~5,000 people, roughly 400 of them will see stakes worth $100+ million.

i hooked my whoop to my work calendar to find which coworker gives me the most stress 🚨 thanks to fable, I reverse engineered whoop to pull per minute heart rate. nd matched spikes with cal events and attendees I now have a leaderboard and I think about it daily. few info masked for obvious reasons ;)

my morning psychosis - ralphing a better github on top of @freestyle_dev git server new loop - I have heard from a few folks that codex 5.5 is the first model that can reliably simplify code without out messing it up, so we're doing 3 passes per loop: codex 5.5. low - ralph opus 4.7 high - ralph codex 5.5 low - simplify this code, make @martinfowler proud Repeat stay tuned and follow along (link in comments)
