I've been working with customers on some incredible case studies for Recipe Kit. Here's a new one showing how powerful recipe content can be to drive traffic for Shopify stores, it's really amazing stuff.
185,000+ page views a year from old recipe content is a remarkable stat. Premier Catch gets more effortless traffic than most Shopify CPG/food brands by simply posting good recipes using their products.

Shopify Sidekick now annoyingly displays front and centre for every single app, implying to merchants that it works with the app (despite it not doing that). So let's test it out on Shopify's own apps:
Shopify Bundles App: "can you create a bundle for me"
More praise for @jessethanley 's new Postshiba product. AI setup is incredibly easy, I've just ported 3 apps over to it this morning.
Cheaper than Postmark (used for the past 5 years) better interface, and reliability from my experience with Bento will likely be much better too
this is so so bad from a ux perspective. it makes no sense. I've had so many confused merchants emailing me about this.
i know this is the first step in a direction that Shopify is taking, and it will eventually iron out, but this transition period is awful for users + app devs
I am tired

I found 153,502 live clones of Shopify stores.
This is a major issue that will continue getting worse and worse - and most Shopify stores have no idea what to do about it.

Some examples: Stanley, the drinkware brand, has at least 16 live clones of their Shopify store online today, and 78 lookalike domains:

My solution is Recon apps.shopify.com/recon-bot. It watches for clones of your Shopify store + brand domains, alerts you with screenshots/details, and then tells you exactly who to report them to - Google, Microsoft, the registrar, the host - with the emails already written.
Do a free clone check for your store, no account needed:

This week I tackled a problem I've had for a while: I've never had a good grasp of what exactly is going on across all my businesses.
So I built a mindmap in my internal tool with ALL ongoing tasks/projects, all team members (and AI agents) with their responsible tasks, etc.
These are all updated hourly through various connectors:
- Github activity
- Slack conversations
- Claude Code sessions
- Google Meet transcriptions
Meaning all the stuff I do across any computer/app ends up in this company brain and mapped out visually so I can see it.
I have a ton of Hermes agents running cron jobs across different projects, and again I wanted to see these alongside what tasks my human employees are working on too.
