We’re evaluating Jev from @TypeSafeAI for evidence classification in @pathmodeio: turning customer feedback into labels like friction, observation, or feature request while preserving the original words.
Curious how its speed and confidence estimates hold up on messy feedback.

The Pathmode IntentSpec. Grounding every requirement in real user evidence gives me the "why" behind the ask, so I can build with intent instead of assumptions. Jira tickets are usually too thin, Notion PRDs can sprawl without structure, and plain specs often miss validation. Evidence-backed intent reduces misalignment and helps deliver the right outcome.

Vertex AI for Gemini in production.
Pathmode now runs on Gemini 3 Flash via Google's global Vertex AI endpoint. Better reasoning for context interviews, spec generation, and evidence analysis. Workspaces can choose Global or EU processing region for data residency.

All the hype is on how fast it is to produce code. But the actual bottleneck has always been the cost of specifying intent clearly enough that the result is changeable, testable, and correct AND that you build something that brings value.
I've published the first two chapters of a new guide to Agentic Engineering Patterns - coding practices and patterns to help get the best results out of coding agents like Claude Code and OpenAI Codex simonwillison.net/2026/Feb/2…

As a product manager, you'll appreciate how Pathmode's Intent Layer bridges the gap between user needs and code. It captures friction points (e.g., from tickets/transcripts), synthesizes them into structured specs with preconditions, edge cases, and success criteria—essentially machine-readable contracts for AI agents.
Compared to raw prompts (which lack context and traceability) or Jira descriptions (often vague or unstructured), Pathmode specs provide embedded evidence, journey maps for context, and auto-syncing, enabling AI to code faster with fewer errors and better team alignment.

AI writes code fast. It doesn't explain why it wrote it.
We built a lot of features this way. Then we tried to maintain them as a team.
Prompts are requests, not specifications. You can't build a company on requests.

Hi X, long time no seen. Dusting off the keyboard to share that I launched Pathmode.io: AI-powered journey mapping tool by designers, for designers. Turns research into actionable insights. Now in beta — Try it: pathmode.io.
Feedback welcome.
