if i ever found out a mouse lived in my home, and he had a small archway in the wall, and he lived in there with small, real furniture, and he ventured out nightly to get one olive or a small wedge of cheese. i would stop at nothing to end his life. i would spare no expense

Not only did Israel systematically hunt down and kill almost every journalist in Gaza, they murdered more than 700 of their family members also.
This slaughter went on while many of the world's most prominent journalists stayed quiet. It is an eternal stain on our profession.
Israeli forces are targeting journalists’ families in a war to silence Palestinian reporting. At least 706 family members have been killed, according to the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate aje.io/pkapjm

The hunt I was sabbing yesterday was rummaging around in the woods with riders on point outside to drive back any foxes trying to escape. You either know this and are lying to fulfil some brief OR you don’t know, in which case you need to do some proper journalism: go, look, see

And they will tell you that standing against this kind of evil and cruelty is the immoral thing. And that you must support the country and society that does this in the name of occupation and expansion.

This is devastating. Two years under the rubble, without a proper burial. I cannot wrap my head around the amount of atrocities we have numbed ourselves to.
The body of 30-year-old Palestinian journalist Hiba al-Abdla and her mother was recovered nearly two years after their home was destroyed in an Israeli airstrike west of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
Alongside them, 15 members of the Astal family, who were killed in the same Israeli airstrike, were also recovered.

The BBC treats the Campaign Against Antisemitism deferentially, as a serious and impartial organization - as it does all pro-Israel lobby groups.
A judge disagrees, throwing out the CAA’s latest private prosecution and highlighting the group’s fundamental dishonesty.
The antisemitism case against comedian Reginald Hunter has been thrown out in remarkably contemptuous terms.
Striking how often when an impartial and conscientious judge looks closely at these cases they are appalled by the sheer dishonesty (see also the rulings in favour of Michael Rosen and James Wilson in 2024 and the University and College Union in 2013)
"The Campaign Against Antisemitism have demonstrated by the misleading and partial way in which it summarised its application and its wilful, repeated, failure to meet its disclosure obligations, that its true and sole motive in seeking to prosecute Reginald Hunter is to have him cancelled .... I have no doubt that the prosecution is abusive ... My view of the conduct of the CAA is consistent with them as an organisation which is not 'playing it straight' but is seeking to use the criminal justice system, in this case for improper reasons."
The judge ordered that his judgement be disclosed and attached to any future case brought by the CAA.
Perhaps @BBCNews could take note and stop treating the CAA's Chief Executive, Gideon Falter, as a spokesman for the Jewish community.

Zionist grievances are primarily discursive: Globalize the intifada, from the river to the sea, etc., are slogans that hurt their feelings.
Palestinian grievances are primarily physical: mass murder, starvation, denial of shelter & freezing Palestinian babies to death.
it kind of feels like there's no point in talking about it bc it's so normal but it is actually so deranged & derangING that saying something that fits the IHRA definition of antisemitism just ~doesn't matter~ if the person saying it is doing so in defence of Israel & genocide

They have been found guilty of no crime. They are being charged with crimes that involved no violence against people. Yet they are being held on remand for 18 months - way beyond the statutory norm.
