I'm dogfooding the stuff the open source team at Laravel has been working on and it is *delightful*
@pushpak1300 @enunomaduro @pascalbaljet knocked this straight outta the park
Genuinely excited to get this out there

Just published Best Before, a package to make sure temporary code, like backfill commands, is deleted instead of hanging around for years.
Plop #[BestBefore('2026-12-25')] on a class or a method and CI will fail once it's gone off. Like out-of-date milk! 🥛

You love SLOs? You have opinions about burn rates? You've been waiting for someone to hand you a blank error budget?

It can hurt when an open source maintainer rejects your idea, especially when you've put time into building it.
But a rejection isn't always a "never". Sometimes it’s a "not now".
Let me explain... 👇

The past month, I've spent some time building a Mac app for running coding agents. It's called Bloom.
Projects on the left, the agent in the middle, and a diff on the right.
It's free, open source, and written in Swift.

Laravel MCP v1 is now in beta 🚀
It brings support for the latest MCP protocol, along with a bunch of improvements.
It’s beta, so expect a few changes, but it’s already very usable. Try it with your existing MCP server and please report issue if you run into anything 🫡

Here are some of the features @taylorotwell walked through yesterday:
◆ Your Laravel Cloud stack sleeps and wakes in under 500 ms (MySQL included), and managed queues scale to zero when your queue is empty.
◆ Deploy your Next.js/Nuxt frontend on Cloud, from the same repo as your Laravel app.
◆ Laravel LSP brings VS Code's autocomplete and navigation to any editor.
◆ Inertia DevTools shows you every request, header, and hydrated prop.
