Mais même là où il n’y a pas de caméra, ils respectent, car parfois les caméras sont cachées et des policiers en civil ! À force de savoir que tout pourrait se savoir, le respect des normes s’impose !
Il y a aussi une composante très importante : au Rwanda ON PASSE le permis ! On ne l’achète pas ! Et la réussite à l’examen du permis est plus célébrée que le diplôme d’état ! Même pour être motard, on passe un test rigoureux !

Belgian police recently searched various houses linked to DRC President Felix Tshisekedi's inner circle.
Early reporting suggests most of the homes are owned by Tshisekedi family members and that the investigation stems from complaints made by civic organizations about the looting of DRC mining resources.
Belgium politically supported Tshisekedi but this is likely to strain the relationship.
One question that jumps out: exactly how many homes and properties does the Tshisekedi family own? The searches were conducted in Brussels and several other areas. Were these all the houses, and do they have others in other countries? How did they pay for them?

C’est une opération d’envergure que la justice belge a menée ce mercredi dans l’entourage du président congolais Félix Tshisekedi.
Voici ce que l’on sait à ce stade, sur base du communiqué officiel du Parquet fédéral et des informations de «La Libre Belgique».
| Que s’est-il passé ?
Plusieurs perquisitions simultanées ont été menées tôt ce matin à Bruxelles et dans plusieurs communes du Brabant flamand et du Brabant wallon. Selon «La Libre», plusieurs dizaines de policiers fédéraux ont été mobilisés.
Les cibles: la résidence du Président à Uccle et des membres de l’entourage familial du président Félix Tshisekedi, disposant de résidences en Belgique.
| Pourquoi maintenant ?
Ces perquisitions s’inscrivent dans le cadre d’une instruction judiciaire ouverte sur réquisition du parquet fédéral du chef de blanchiment.
Cette instruction fait suite à «la réception de plaintes déposées par des organisations non gouvernementales en juillet 2025», précise mot pour mot le communiqué du Parquet fédéral que nous avons consulté.
Ces plaintes, révélées dès juillet 2025 par plusieurs médias, visaient la famille présidentielle pour des soupçons de détournement et de blanchiment liés notamment à des activités minières au Katanga. Elles ont été déposées en Belgique en raison de la nationalité belge de certains membres de la famille, la loi belge permettant de poursuivre ses nationaux pour corruption et blanchiment même pour des faits commis à l’étranger.
| Que dit le Parquet fédéral ?
Contacté par «La Libre» et cité par «Afrikarabia», le Parquet fédéral confirme les opérations mais reste très laconique:
«Plusieurs perquisitions ont été réalisées concomitamment ce jour à Bruxelles et dans plusieurs communes des Brabants flamand et wallon».
Et d’ajouter: «Dans un souci de préservation du secret de l’instruction et de la présomption d’innocence, aucune information additionnelle ne sera communiquée».
| Ce que l’on ne sait pas encore:
- L’identité exacte des personnes visées;
- Si des saisies ou interpellations ont eu lieu;
- Le montant présumé du blanchiment.
À Kinshasa, la Présidence de la République et le gouvernement n’ont pas encore réagi.
C’est la première fois que la justice belge passe à l’action concrète après plus d’un an d’enquête préliminaire.

Today, 18 October 2026, a delegation led by Hon. Juvenal Marizamunda, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Rwanda, participated in a high-level Ministerial Meeting in Lusaka, Zambia.
Following the Technical Experts' Meeting held on 17 October 2026, the gathering brought together Ministers of Defence, Ministers of Foreign Affairs, and their representatives of the Contact and Coordination Group member states, namely Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Uganda, and Tanzania.
The meeting reviewed and endorsed the draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the Disarmament, Demobilization, Repatriation, and Reintegration of foreign combatants operating in the Great Lakes Region. The draft SOP will be submitted to the Heads of State for consideration and final adoption.
