forgot to renew the VPS, so paperdesk.fun quietly died for a bit 💀 after a small hole in my pocket, and we're back. go try it and tell me what breaks first: paperdesk.fun I also wrote up the system design behind the trading single-writer matching, WAL, snapshots, balances, settlement, all of it. parthkadam.tech/blog/buildin…

NGL, after coming from Mathura, Vrindavan, and Govardhan, the trip was supposed to end in Haridwar/Rishikesh on the 14th. After that, I was supposed to go back to my internship. But while we were heading from Dehradun to Haridwar after spending the whole day riding scooters around Mussoorie, we met a man who told us that Kedarnath and Badrinath were far better than Mussoorie. So we checked our remaining balance and decided to go for it. Within an hour, we extended the leave, cancelled our booking for the 14th, moved it to the 17th, and changed the rest of the itinerary entirely. If it had been anyone else, I would’ve cancelled the plan on the spot. But honestly, there are very very few good things I got from college, and these bastards are one of them. So here we are almost 12,000 feet above sea level, in -5°C weather, with our heads bowed before Lord Kedarnath. The trip is still not over. We haven’t reached home yet, so there may be more lore coming.

Claude now works inside Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, and those files also open inside Claude. In Google Workspace, Claude sits in a sidebar next to your file, reads what you have open, and edits it in place. You can approve each edit before it lands.

I built a paper exchange on a real matching engine. Spot + perps. Live order book. Single-writer fills. IOC/FOK. Postgres outbox → Redis Streams → matching → Timescale. paperdesk.fun

why you look slightly "off" in every video you record: your script sits a few inches below the camera, and your eyes follow it. so I put the script right under the notch, next to the lens. getcta, a free teleprompter for Mac: getcta.store

Built PaperDesk (paper currency centralized exchange) & finally recorded a walkthrough of it. I also broke down the system architecture and how its running in the production. first time doing a facecam + technical breakdown video, so it's definitely not perfect lol. but fuck it, shipped.
