The term "patch", meaning a software update, originates from the days when computer code was written on physical cards with holes punched in them. If there was a change in the code, you would "patch" that section of the card with a piece of tape, covering it, and changing it.

I have to admit I like much of what @RoKhanna is saying here (minus the parts about the Supreme Court). Politicians shouldn’t profit from elected office, period. That’s a cancer in our country & I’ll applaud the right message regardless of who says it…even if it’s a Democrat who regularly goes out of his way to bash me.

Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell were only worth $4.4 million when elected to Congress. Today, they are worth a combined $360 million.
So, with an annual salary of only $193k, how did they increase their net worth by a staggering 8081.82%?
They abused their authority as the most influential members of Congress to solicit insider information and negotiate backroom deals, outperforming the stock market and top hedge funds.
Nearly 100% of Americans age 80 or higher are retired, yet Pelosi and McConnell, who are both over 80, continue to hold some of the most powerful positions in the world.
Corrupt career politicians like this can be eliminated by enforcing term limits for members of Congress. When is enough enough?

This may be the craziest indy film ever made. One dude, took a RED & walked into #wildfires for 6 years. Cut on a MacBook, posted on Wix. No studios, no agenda, no $. Bored with Hollywood? You'll love it. Bill Lundun on KPNW sums it up nicely. #ShotOnRed

The combined net worth of the 50 richest members of Congress is $4.8 Billion.
With an annual salary of $174k, they would have to work 27,500 years to earn that much money.
The highest positions of our government, on both sides of the aisle, are abusing their power for personal financial gain. How are we allowing this to happen?

America: we are dropping AP math and science because being in the 1% of STEM is divisive and hurtful to others.
Also America: here’s umpteen ways you can spend money and time trying to be in the 1% of a sport that likely has no bearing on your future.
These priorities are fucked up.

Found this and it’s depressing:
“The #WonderYears aired from 1988 and 1993 and depicted the years between 1968 and 1973. If a new Wonder Years premiered today, it would cover the years between 2000 and 2005.” 📺
