One of the best aspects of Arvind Limited’s garment manufacturing facility in Varanasi is the boost it will give to women empowerment!

Uttar Pradesh is creating fresh opportunities for manufacturing through investments in infrastructure, connectivity, and skills bringing the Hon'ble PM's dream for Uttar Pradesh's industrial transformation into reality. These developments can help the state attract long-term industrial investment and build a stronger manufacturing ecosystem.
Arvind Limited’s garment manufacturing facility in Varanasi, our first manufacturing unit in Uttar Pradesh, is part of this opportunity. The facility, inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, will bring advanced garment manufacturing capabilities to the region.
Modern production systems, infrastructure to support workforce welfare, and a focus on employment will be central to the facility’s operations. The project is expected to create opportunities for women while supporting local businesses and services.
India’s textile and apparel sector can play a larger role in global manufacturing. Uttar Pradesh has the potential to contribute meaningfully to this growth, and I look forward to seeing the opportunities this facility creates for Varanasi and its surrounding communities.

It was a pleasure hosting @DrMohanYadav51, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, to discuss the opportunities ahead for @Arvind_Limited and other group companies in the state.
As global supply chains evolve, geographic diversification is becoming critical to resilience, market proximity and value-chain control. With its strong textile ecosystem, cotton access, central location, large labour pool and growing manufacturing infrastructure, Madhya Pradesh is strategically positioned to play a larger role in India’s textile and apparel growth.
We have already started a shirt manufacturing facility, and will eventually scale up our garment operations in the state, potentially creating 5000+ jobs, with women comprising 95% of the workforce.
At PM MITRA Park, 105 acres have been secured for a planned ₹1,200 crore investment across spinning, yarn, weaving and fabric.
Together, these initiatives go beyond capacity creation. By bringing the latest technologies, including robotic automation and AI-enhanced manufacturing, we aim to set a new standard for textile and apparel manufacturing in the state.
We look forward to deepening our partnership with the Government of Madhya Pradesh and advancing this journey of investment and inclusive growth.

Congratulations to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri @Bhupendrapbjp ji and Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri @sanghaviharsh on unveiling the Viksit Gujarat Industrial Policy 2026.
This policy reinforces Gujarat’s position as one of India’s most competitive destinations for manufacturing, innovation and investment. The focus on ease of doing business, industrial infrastructure, R&D, workforce development and sustainability provides a strong foundation for long-term growth.
It is particularly encouraging to see the recognition of Textiles & Apparels as a thrust sector, with emphasis on value addition, technical textiles, garment manufacturing and globally competitive supply chains. Equally important is the policy’s vision for strengthening the services economy and enabling the growth of Global Capability Centres (GCCs).
At Arvind, we look forward to doubling down on our Gujarat presence through continued expansion of our manufacturing footprint in the state and exploring new growth opportunities, including establishment of our GCC.
This is a very progressive policy, aligned with the Hon’ble PM’s vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. This will help drive investment, innovation and quality employment across Gujarat.

Nations are transformed when long-term vision is matched by consistent execution.
Congratulations to Shri @narendramodi on becoming the longest-serving Prime Minister in India’s history and completing 12 years in office.
For Indian industry, the past decade has been defined by greater policy stability, infrastructure creation, digital transformation, and a renewed focus on manufacturing competitiveness. Reforms such as GST, PLI, PM GatiShakti, and the expansion of trade partnerships have strengthened India’s position in the global economy.
Today, India is not only one of the world’s fastest-growing major economies, it is increasingly seen as a trusted partner for investment, innovation, and resilient supply chains.
The foundations have been laid. The next chapter is about scale, productivity, and creating globally competitive enterprises that can help realise the vision of Viksit Bharat.

Today, Arvind Foundation had the honour of welcoming Hon'ble Union Minister Shri Amit Shah near our Santej facility, home to Arvind’s largest manufacturing ecosystem, to inaugurate our Integrated Lake & Ecosystem Restoration initiative at Khatraj lake.
The Ecosystem restoration initiative reflects Arvind’s long-term CSR commitment to being a good neighbour by creating sustainable and livable ecosystems around its plant operations. In collaboration with the Khatraj Gram Panchayat, we are working on the restoration of Khatraj Lake across 15.5 acres to create a cleaner, greener, and more inclusive public space for the community.
The lakefront will include a 700-metre walking track, an open gymnasium, a nature education centre, a children’s play area, and a 150 KLD Sewage Treatment Plant to keep the lake’s water clean.
Large-scale plantation and ecological restoration have also remained key pillars of our development approach in the region. So far, we have planted and maintained over 3 lakh trees, contributing to an estimated 15,748 tCO₂e carbon mitigation, equivalent to the annual carbon emissions of nearly 7,800 people.
This year, we aim to undertake plantation of 1.25 lakh additional trees in support of the Hon’ble Union Minister’s vision of planting 1 crore trees across #Gandhinagar.
Alongside environmental restoration, our focus has also been on strengthening community institutions and expanding access to opportunity. The Hon’ble Minister inaugurated the rebuilt Khatraj Panchayat building today, reinforcing the importance of strong local governance in enabling long-term community development.
We believe development must strengthen both ecosystems and the people who shape them. Our commitment extends to communities across Kalol, Kadi and neighbouring districts of Gujarat. Through mobile digital classrooms, we have engaged over 8,000 students in Kalol, while our open schooling initiative has supported more than 500 school dropouts in continuing their education. Our work in livelihoods has trained over 3500 farmers in sustainable farming, while collectivising over 300 women into women into a women-led Farmer Producer Organisation.
Together, these initiatives reflect our continued commitment to environmental stewardship, community development and institution building in Gujarat.

Arvind Advanced Materials Limited, a WOS (100% subsidiary) of Arvind Limited, has acquired a 61% controlling interest in Dalco-GFT Nonwovens, a US-based manufacturer of specialized needle-punched non-woven fabrics.
This move marks our entry into the world's largest technical textile market and reinforces our strategy of leveraging integrated supply chains to navigate global trade dynamics.

✅ With this deal, Arvind will gain access to a massive TAM in the USA of approximately USD 2.5 Bn across all the current segments of DALCO.
✅ The deal is both margin and EPS accretive from day one, backed by Dalco-GFT’s ~$100 Mn top-line, ~17% EBITDA margin, and ~40% ROCE.

Congratulations to the Government of India on the signing of the Free Trade Agreement with New Zealand today. Concluded in just nine months, this is among the fastest deals India has finalised in recent years and a genuinely meaningful milestone in our trade journey.
The agreement gives Indian exports duty-free access into the New Zealand market, removing tariffs across categories and creating a real opening for labour-intensive sectors like textiles, apparel, leather and footwear. With bilateral trade targeted to double to $5 billion over the next five years, this opens up meaningful headroom for Indian businesses to scale in a high quality market.
This along with the other agreements India has signed in recent months, opens up an incredible opportunity. The task now is to use these agreements at the scale they actually make possible.
Congratulations to Hon'ble Minister Shri @PiyushGoyal and the entire team for driving this forward.

I had a fruitful meeting today in Ahmedabad, with a delegation led by Dr. Antti Herlevi, Counsellor, Embassy of Finland. The Finland team was in the city for the Finland–India Circular Economy Roadshow as a lead‑up to World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) 2026 which will be hosted in Gandhinagar, Gujarat later this year.
We discussed the ongoing preparations for the WCEF 2026 and explored opportunities to deepen cooperation across circular economy and sustainability initiatives.
I assured my full support in engaging with industry, academia, and government stakeholders to build strong momentum ahead of WCEF 2026. We also exchanged views on enhancing bilateral collaboration by increasing the presence of Finnish companies in India, and Indian companies in Finland, particularly in sustainability‑led sectors.
I also briefed the delegation on our group’s sustainability journey and ongoing efforts to advance responsible and circular industrial practices.
I look forward to working closely with our Finnish partners to strengthen India–Finland cooperation and deliver meaningful impact through circular economy solutions.
