The future of families looking after their health. Excited to build this future. @tryLifelong
Introducing @tryLifelong. For most of history, health was a family thing: stories, remedies, the small daily knowing of how someone is doing. But most of us live further apart now. Lifelong closes that distance. One place for your family's health: medications, next steps in care, how everyone is tracking. Become a Lifelong family at trylifelong.com

The point of better technology isn’t just to make us more productive. It should make us better sons, daughters, partners, parents and caregivers. When my grandfather got sick, my father literally moved walls for him. He widened a doorway for a hospital bed and rebuilt the bathroom so his wheelchair could fit. His generation compensated for weak systems with physical sacrifice. Ours has technology, data, infrastructure and intelligence on a scale humanity has never had. And despite all that leverage, I haven’t done even 1% of what my father did for his family. If technology doesn’t make us better at caring for our people, we’ve mistaken capability for progress. We're building @tryLifelong to change that. To give families better tools to care for the people they love. We intend to move walls for millions of families. Launching August 12. my scoreboard for the last 6 months was money collected. problem: most of it came from friends. friends pay because they believe in you. that's a gift, not a verdict. the verdict is whether they still use it weekly after paying. new scoreboard.

was dating someone for two months in London. broke it off as it just felt off (no fault to her. alright, well, some fault). I’ll never forget the text I got 9 months later from her after waking up on a Sunday morning

One more I forgot until just reminded: 3. Khosla Ventures wanted to invest in our Series C. Vinod took me, Michelle, and Lee out to dinner after he’d given us a term sheet. Near the end, Michelle and Lee got up to use the restroom. Vinod leaned over and said: “I’m impressed with you, not so much with them, what if you fire them and I’ll give you all their stock?” I think the charitable read was it was a test of my character. But I was so offended that we never spoke again. Literally blocked his number.

Please, Iran, we beg you. Whatever you do, definitely do not destroy our top-secret, most valuable nuclear facility. We would not survive as a nation if you destroyed this building 💔

This is in such bad taste imo.
Anthropic just took a big swipe at OpenAI's decision to put ads in ChatGPT. Anthropic is airing ads mocking ChatGPT ads during the Super Bowl, and they're hilarious 😅 Anthropic is also committing to no ads in Claude theverge.com/ai-artificial-i…

I don’t let Claude Code on my codebase. It’s all codex. Would be too buggy with Opus.

The old guard might squeal and whine, but the future belongs to crypto. It’s about time the banks felt the heat on interest accounts.
Something this WSJ piece omits is that what @brian_armstrong is arguing for is not obviously in Coinbase's interest: in a world where yield sharing is prohibited, USDC will at least in a first-order way be more directly profitable for Coinbase. As far as I can tell, Brian's position stems from his belief in the importance of a vibrant and competitive market that protects consumer liberty, and I think he deserves a lot of credit for that. wsj.com/finance/currencies/c….
