This is outrageous. Don’t stop complaining about this company as it intentionally benefits from the theft of artists due to their expansive use of these theft based models. Raise your concerns loudly until they change directions and if not just stop supporting Epic games.
Epic Games has internally delayed the release of a shooter game they’ve been developing featuring Star Wars & Marvel characters.
• Developers on the game have now been told to only use AI to write the code — “No more hand-written code”
• All art for the game would be “generated with full AI workflows”

this reminds me of a gradient tutorial saying that you should avoid crossing colors through the center of the RGB cube becuz that's where the grayscale is which makes your gradient "muddy", so you add a 3rd color on the outside
it blew my mind (but didn't help me cuz I'm a bum)

And my 3d teacher kept boasting about how AI is the way to get a job or if not you will be stuck working a retail job foreve
And you know what he also said??? That indie developers were a thing thanks to AI because now they can do the job of an entire studio shut up dickrider
There's so many indie studios that have worked so hard to bring beautiful pieces of media into the world , I'm so upset
