Russia's Kosmos 2612 spent weeks closing in on ICEYE-X36, a commercial radar satellite supplying imagery to Ukraine's military. It went from trailing by 300 miles to just a couple hundred meters away, repeatedly adjusting its position to stay close. Was it SPYING? Testing its capabilities? Or preparing to ATTACK? Analysts can't say for sure. And by yesterday, the Russian craft had retreated more than 250 miles. The worrying part is that Kosmos 2612 could come BACK. Russia launched 5 other mysterious satellites alongside it in April, and analysts warn this might not be a one-off encounter.
