Does misery like company? I am watching from a close. This is a fascinating race. Much like the PP Fed campaign Chow seems to have plotted a safe and quiet campaign and has no plan B it seems when people clearly reacted looking for what her go forward substance would be.
How much of a loser am I? I'm in a plane over the South Pacific somewhere and I'm obsessively studying Toronto municipal election coverage.
Like I said: total loser.

As a political geek watcher putting aside my own views. Was a bit stunned to see Chow not get a nod from the progressive paper of record. In fact no Toronto daily seems to have endorsed her.
Huge statement for the Toronto Star to not endorse the sitting Mayor.
When that paper has seen 3 1/2 years of Olivia Chow, & simply cannot advocate for 4 more of them - it’s quite an indictment.
GO VOTE MONDAY.

Setting guard rails and rate limits on your platform for bots is a fair thing. Stopping bots from using your site feels like you are using a kids sandbox bucket to empty water out of the titanic. Amazon should know this.

Vandal defaces a Brad Bradford campaign sign with devil horns, then has nothing to say for herself.
Interfering with an election sign is unlawful. If you believe a sign has been improperly placed, report it to 311.

The "reporters" the CBC sent to us during the Wikileaks thing were un-fucking -believable.
They had it all scripted and I'm like, "none of that is true and I'm not saying it"
They ended up airing a segment with some "cyber-expert" who was working out of his car.
Also using 5 years. This is exactly correct.

For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter.
AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country.
Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty.
The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.

Getting a lot of reports of @rogers outage which seems wide spread - at least in Ontario. Calls failing to complete at high rate.
After moving to a silicon Mac I had to upgrade my @parallels install. Advice to anyone. Stay away. It installs a ton of "helpful" junk software and extensions that clog my machine. What a way to destroy your brand like McAfee. What other virtualization platforms are people using?
So is the last day to order an S/X the end of the quarter? Or that's when production stops and new builds will just stop on some random day @elonmusk? And why do US owners get the Luxe package and Canadians get naught for same effective price?
Seeing lots of recovery from Bell Outage this morning. Not full yet but a large swath now showing traffic.

Lined up for my last McCord Travel booked trip. Travel will never be the same without McCord Magic. Thanks for all the miracles sir! IYTYT.
While on a YouTube spiral ended up listening to the live @linkinpark show introducing their new lead singer Emily Armstrong. While trying to judge the fit (amazing chops and haunting voice for a sing/shout role) I forgot how many excellent songs this band had!
Spot on.
You can't really say the @SCC_eng is wrong or right in the @jordanbpeterson case - they simply refused to hear it. Courts usually don't like substituting their views with that of professional bodies. That's normal. (Why else have such bodies?)
Me, I think professional bodies should not police the social media of their membership if the social media commentary is unrelated to the profession. That's a very slippery slope.
I say that, too, as someone who is no fan of Dr. Peterson's stuff. It has a distinctly culty feel to it, to me.
