Just as it is wrong for protesters to abuse and attack journalists, journalists heckling the leaders of a protest movement is a breach of the very same professional responsibility.
Our job as reporters is to listen, ask questions and report on the story โ not become active participants in it. Journalists resorting to theatre and abuse during press conferences is plain wrong and unacceptable.
Report on the story. Donโt become the story.

Disturbing to note that Positioned right at the top as the No 1 college of India (As per the latest National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 rankings), my Alma Mater HINDU COLLEGE is facing significant protests from teachers & Staff. Staff Association has been sitting in dharna against the Principal and the Chairman, Governing Body, for more than two weeks now. It has passed a resolution of "no confidence" against the Principal, and has sought that the Governing Body take action to fulfill its various demands but to no avail to date. Now called a Press Conference tomorrow noon at the Hindu College Campusโฆ.

Be hungry like Samsung.
Samsung has just recorded a quarterly operating profit of USD 80 billion or almost Rs 8 lakh crore! Its annual profit may exceed the combined profits of all listed companies in India.
Its story is very amazing. Unlike the US tech companies which were founded as tech companies, Samsung was founded as a trading company which moved into textiles and food processing. Much later, it moved to consumer electronics like ACs and mobile phones. And from there into cutting-edge memory chips. What an evolution.
Companies like Samsung generate lakhs of jobs in Korea and other countries, including India. And women are a big part of the workforce.
Samsung, which is owner-driven, has shown how companies must remain hungry and dynamic to do more even when they have achieved considerable success.
Keep growing and innovating. Nothing is impossible.
