My convo with @TMobileHelp. Then nothing. 25 minutes later and no response. Ridiculous. @TMobile
The right dog for the right person. Dogs make a difference.
This was filmed last week in Tampa, Florida. Phone cam footage is shaky but captures everything. The veteran is Marcus, 36, Marine Corps. Severe PTSD. His therapist suggested getting a dog. Marcus came to browse. Not sure he was ready. Walking down the kennel hallway looking at dogs. Most are barking.
Jumping. Overwhelming. Then Marcus passes one kennel. A Pit Bull inside. Male. About four years old.
The dog isn't barking. Just stands up. Presses his nose through the bars. Staring at Marcus. Marcus stops walking. Looks at the dog. Kneels down. The dog pushes his entire face through the gap in the bars trying to reach Marcus. Whining softly. Marcus asks staff if he can meet this dog. Staff member unlocks the kennel. Opens the door. The dog doesn't run out crazy. He walks directly to Marcus. Then launches. Wraps both front paws around Marcus's neck. Won't let go. Marcus falls backward. Sitting on the floor. Dog in his lap. Paws still wrapped around his neck. Pressing his face into Marcus's shoulder.
Marcus wraps his arms around the dog. They stay like that. Staff member filming says "I've never seen Zeus act like this. He's been here eight months. Scared of men. Won't let men touch him." Marcus is crying.
Says "He won't let go. He's holding onto me." They sat on that shelter floor for forty-three minutes. Zeus would not release his grip around Marcus's neck.
Marcus adopted Zeus on the spot. Staff said when Marcus tried to stand up to do paperwork, Zeus panicked. Wouldn't let go. Marcus had to carry Zeus to the front desk. Sign papers one-handed while Zeus clung to him. Marcus told us: "I wasn't sure I was ready for a dog. But Zeus decided for me. He chose me. And he won't let me go. Maybe that's exactly what I need." Sometimes the best therapy is a shelter dog who wraps himself around you and refuses to let go until you understand you're supposed to take him home
People are ready for Medicare for All. Other countries do it. Instead of paying ridiculous sums to private insurance companies paying executives millions to deny services, we could pay the same & actually get the services. No AI denying claims & then having to fight for coverage.
A new study confirms that Medicare for All would save 114,000 lives every year and reduce overall healthcare spending by more than $1 trillion annually.
Do not tell me we cannot afford Medicare for All.
What we cannot afford is a broken healthcare system based on greed.
So basically Murkowski and Collins voted against because they knew it would still go through. Not because they actually have principles.

Isn't it funny how the mainstream media suddenly loses interest when the truth destroys one of its favorite anti-Biden narratives.
Yes, you read that right: @HunterBiden won a defamation case over bullshit claims that he was corrupt.
And remember the FBI informant who claimed Joe and Hunter Biden took bribes from Burisma? He pleaded guilty to lying. But you probably didn't know that because it only made it to the back page headlines at the time.
The press gave the accusations endless headlines and wall-to-wall coverage. But when the stories collapse, the accusers are exposed, and the Bidens are vindicated?
Crickets.
Because the lie was profitable. The truth was inconvenient.
The lie gets the headline. The Bidens get smeared. The truth gets buried.
@Old_National Bank not only does not have weekend support (heaven forfend you are the victim of fraud when their office is closed), but they have outsourced their customer service to the Philippines - & their English isn't great.

Thomas Massie just sounded the alarm:
Congress is on the verge of handing Monsanto total immunity to mass poison Americans with glyphosate.
This is existential for MAHA.
“If farmers contract a form of cancer … from this chemical, if this makes it into the Farm Bill, you won’t be able to sue.”
Instead of pushing to repeal Big Pharma’s vaccine liability shield, Trump and his cronies are trying to expand immunity for even more poison.
It’s a complete betrayal of MAHA.
And it would cause vastly more harm than all of the benefits that MAHA has done combined.
