Good morning!
Gasless launches are coming to Pair.
We’re preparing to cover the network gas for your launch, so you can create a coin without topping up ETH first.
You’ll still launch from your own wallet and remain the creator, with control over your pairing asset and creator fee settings. Any optional dev buy remains yours to fund.
A new round of fixes is live on Pair.
- Fixed missing prices and FDV on native launches.
- Replaced the main 24h volume display with total indexed trading volume in ETH equivalent, with updated sorting.
- Improved shared caching and background indexing to reduce repeated RPC requests as usage grows.
- Preserved historical volume as older trade data is archived.
For custom pairs, volume uses the conversion rate fixed at launch. The counter tracks buys and sells without changing just because the paired asset’s price moves.
New launches remain first, with older launches marked Legacy.

Here's the design we're building for Pair's next update.
The starting point is familiar: curve and migration mechanics, with creators choosing the compatible asset their coin trades against. We want the launch process to work for an individual creator, a community launch or an established team.
The details matter:
- Sniper protection lasts three seconds. Total opening buy fees are capped at 99%, with the additional sniper tax dropping sharply along a non-linear decay to zero. Normal trading fees remain afterward.
- The creator is automatically exempt from that temporary tax, with up to 64 additional wallets declared at launch. Exemptions skip the sniper tax only, not the normal trading fee. Sniper-tax proceeds are split equally between the creator and Pair.
- The normal fee starts at 1%: 0.5% for Pair and 0.5% for the creator, on both buys and sells.
- Creators can add 0% to 9% extra creator tax. All of that extra goes to the creator, with a maximum normal fee of 10%. For example, adding 1% means a 2% total fee: 1.5% to the creator and 0.5% to Pair.
- The creator fee recipient is chosen at launch and will be fixed afterward. A team can direct revenue to its treasury or another designated wallet from the start.
- Fees are collected in the paired asset and will be claimable directly through the contracts or the app. An ETH pair pays fees in ETH; a different pairing pays in that asset. There's no accumulated launch-token fee balance waiting to be sold for those claims.
An optional dev buy and the usual images upload, description and links are part of the flow too.
We've also cleaned up the frontend, keeping the default launch simple and putting additional controls in advanced settings.
This is still in development. Those checks are part of the work we're completing before release. We'll give more updates and do a thread about it to explain why some things are designed in a way and not in another.
We're developing the next major update to Pair: our own launch flow on Robinhood, with custom pairings, creator fees and opening sniper protection.
Our partner outreach hasn't brought a positive response so far. We're continuing to build, with the goal of giving teams more control while keeping the curve and migration experience familiar to Pons users.
Creators will be able to choose their pairing asset, configure their revenue and declare sniper-tax exemptions before launch. Fees will be claimable in the paired asset, without waiting for a separate conversion of accumulated fee tokens.
The frontend has also been rebuilt around a cleaner launch and trading experience.
This update is still in development. We're working through terminal compatibility, fee reporting and the details of the launch-to-migration flow before the full release.
While we're quiet, a lot of work is being done. Expect big changes for the next update.
This should impact positively our ecosystem in a new way 👀
Good morning ☀️
A morning snapshot of what has been built through Pair:
- 42 launches recorded, including early tests
- 10 pairing assets chosen
- 169.8 ETH in original Pons market trading volume since launch
- 14 funded custom pools
- 41 confirmed liquidity additions
- Around $1.5k currently held across those custom pools
You can explore the coins, compare their markets and follow confirmed liquidity additions directly in the app.

We’ve just opened the Pair Telegram channel.
Every live update will be posted there, alongside progress on what we’re building and occasional previews before announcements reach X.
We want you to be able to follow how changes are taking shape, what’s ready and what still needs work.

We’re planning a second buyback source for PAIR in an upcoming update.
The proposal: allocate 50% of the creator revenue actually received from trading our own $PAIR token to automated PAIR buybacks and burns.
That would sit alongside the existing buyback allocation from V2 launches, giving the mechanism two funding sources: activity across Pair launches and revenue from $PAIR itself.
We also want the app to show what each source contributed, how much was spent and which burns were confirmed.
We’ll share the contract and activation details before this goes live.
A coin’s liquidity has a history worth following alongside its price.
Pair’s coin pages show confirmed liquidity contributions from the last 30 days, including the amounts added and the number of additions. When there are multiple deposits, you can follow them on a chart.
Current reserves change as people trade. The contribution history lets you see when the vault actually funded the market.

Before you sign a trade on Pair, check the minimum you’ll receive.
The review shows the selected route, expected output, minimum received and estimated network cost. Your slippage setting defines how far execution can move from the quote.
If the reviewed quote expires, the app asks you to refresh it before signing. The swap also carries a minimum-output requirement on-chain.
A few seconds spent checking that review can make a real difference in a thin market.

Every coin launched through Pair gets its own on-chain vault.
That vault tracks the coin’s reserved liquidity, creator earnings and, for V2 launches, its allocation to PAIR buybacks separately.
The liquidity portion stays dedicated to that coin’s chosen market. Creators and holders can follow what the vault received, what remains reserved and what has actually been added to the pool.
Each project has a funding history you can inspect, from released fees through to confirmed liquidity additions.

Already follow an asset on Robinhood? You can use it to discover new projects on Pair.
Our Assets page groups launches by their chosen pairing. Open PONS, for example, and see the coins that selected it, with their prices, trading volume and liquidity in one place.
For existing communities, that makes it easier to find projects building markets around the asset they already use.
For creators, your pairing becomes another way for people to discover your coin.

Pair’s weekly leaderboard is ready to preview.
The top 5 coins by weekly Pons trading volume, displayed in USD, or current market cap. FDV is labelled where market cap is unavailable.
Every launch enters automatically. We’ll review the activity behind each project and exclude invalid entries, using these weekly reviews to decide which builders deserve more visibility and support.
We want to encourage people to keep building after launch and make their progress easier to follow.
We're still contacting potential partners to push Pair further. The Telegram group for updates should be the next thing coming soon.

We’re building weekly creator rounds on Pair to support projects that keep developing after launch.
Each round will review activity over at least seven days, looking at returning traders, liquidity maintained over time and the creator’s work on the project and community.
We’ll check for self-trading, circular activity and coordinated wallets before selecting projects. Raw volume alone won’t decide the results, and suspicious patterns will be reviewed before anyone is excluded.
The plan is to combine featured placement, launch support and capped rewards from a fixed round budget. We’ll publish the eligibility rules, review process and reward details before the first round opens.
We want this to give serious creators more visibility and a reason to keep building within the Pons ecosystem.
We’ve also started contacting potential partners to help push Pair further and bring more builders to the platform. A Telegram group for development updates and community feedback should be coming soon.

41 launches through Pair, with liquidity already added to multiple paired pools.
The largest pools have received repeated additions as released trading fees are put back to work. That’s the mechanism taking shape: activity in the original Pons market helps fund the chosen pair.
For new launches, V2 expands the supported funding routes and adds $PAIR buybacks and burns alongside liquidity building and creator earnings.
There’s still work ahead on execution and compatibility. The flywheel is just the beginning - we’re building a stronger connection between each launch, its paired market and $PAIR.
pair.trade/activity
Pair so far: 41 recorded launches across 10 different pairing assets, including our initial test launches.
Each pairing gives creators a way to build a market around the asset they choose while staying within the Pons ecosystem.
You can now explore those launches by paired asset, compare their markets and follow confirmed liquidity additions directly in the app.
pair.trade/explore
An important detail from the start: liquidity committed through Pair stays committed.
The starting supply you reserve goes into the coin’s liquidity vault. Once liquidity is added, the vault holds the LP tokens or position. Our deployed vaults have no function that lets the creator or keeper withdraw those holdings.
Creator earnings are accounted for separately and can be claimed without withdrawing the pool’s liquidity. Pausing reinvestment doesn’t unlock it either.
That separation is part of the design: creators can earn from their launches while the liquidity built for their chosen pair remains committed.
docs.pair.trade/liquidity
Your trade size can change which pool gives you the better price.
A route that works well for a small buy can become less attractive for a larger one if liquidity is thin. Even a lower trading fee can be outweighed by price impact.
That's why Pair compares supported routes for the amount you enter and selects the highest estimated token output after pool fees. Network costs are shown separately before signing.
As a chosen pair builds liquidity, its quotes can become more competitive. You can compare it with the original Pons market directly in the app.
