This Halloween, why not scare your local archivist by dressing up as:
- A rusty staple
- A box labelled 'misc'
- A pen in a searchroom
- Someone trying to order a 240 box collection
- A postal deposit of floppy discs
- Someone asking why you can't just 'digitise everything'

#AskAnArchivist: How do you know you're in an archivist's office?
Answer: You hear a disembodied voice replying from the stacks of paper.
Ha! I’d also be happy if you were more specific than “I have a question can someone call me back?” #askanarchivist
#AskAnArchivist: What is the #1 rule of archival research?
Answer: For the love of all that is historic, when leaving a message for research assistance, please leave an address for the property in question!
