Advertising in many instances is just name marketing.
A good example are pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer. Pfizer I believe is the largest donor to broadcast and cable TV. How many times have you heard "brought to you by Pfizer" in the credits?
Do you believe any broadcast would criticize them over their history of medical fraud? Would they report Pfizer has been fined billions?

Hypothetically now Pfizer comes along and complains that they won't advertise on Twitter because of some nebulous reason and will only do it if they censor certain postings and subjects.
Didn't we already see this on Twitter 1.0? Of course. All dissent was banned including famous scientists and doctors.
This is blackmail to hold a financial boycott over twitter to censor free speech.
It is not just pharmaceutical companies. BlackRock, NGOs, WEF and many others would like to take away the public square and factual news reporting, uncompromised by corporatism.
So no it is not just for advertising a widget. It is about shaping a narrative and hiding the reality of corporate malfeasance.
This is just one reason to reveal who is behaving untoward against our basic civil liberties and rights.

🚨 FINAL HAMAS TERRORIST FROM SHANI LOUK ABDUCTION CELL KILLED
The IDF and Shin Bet say Tamer Muhammad Ibrahim al-Sabbagh, a Hamas terrorist who participated in the abduction of Shani Louk on October 7, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Jabalia.
He was the final member of the Hamas cell seen abducting Louk: three others were killed earlier in the war and another was captured by Israeli forces.
According to the IDF, al-Sabbagh continued planning attacks and working to rebuild Hamas capabilities.
The entire cell involved in the infamous abduction has now been eliminated or captured.

What I came to find was shocking - these silly USAID awards added up to a global regime change machine. "Democracy" has nothing to do with elections. "Democracy," to them, means diffused governance outside of the three branches of our Constitutional Republic via private citizens in the form of NGOs. The network started assembling over a hundred years ago with the founding of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and has snowballed into a machinery worth trillions of dollars that has sucked taxpayer money, philanthropic money, union dues.
That became UNELECTED.

WOW 🚨 Investigation finds Canadian Nationals who are Green Card holders that go into Washington State ARE BEING REGISTERED TO VOTE
- This happens because Canadians go into the Washington state DMV to get licenses
- There is NO CITIZENSHIP VERIFICATION
- They get automatically registered to vote vote when signing up and renewing their license
- They then get mailed ballots
The investigation also finds they are voting
“Went into DMV and registered because there was no kind of questions on their citizenship, and they naively thought that they could do it, or they just received in the mail a voter registration card. After renewing their driver's license online, and lo and behold, they received in the mail a ballot”
Just imagine how widespread this is in Democrat states. All these Democrat states that have automatic voter registration at the DMV without citizenship checks are definitely doing this. I bet their ballot harvesting the ballots too
I looked into this and apparently most Democrat states just have a box to check for citizenship followed by no proof of any documentation

As people get more active, their total daily calorie burn rises at first and then levels off. The body appears to adapt by spending less energy elsewhere, so the extra workouts don't add up the way the treadmill display suggests.
