At the end of the day, I guess the Brewers were just smarter, tougher, and better than the @Dodgers!

A lot of the time I see sad fans on broadcasts, I feel empathetic. Its hard to get to games, you never know when you'll get the chance again, etc. This is the exception to that. I feel nothing but joy seeing Dodgers fans sadness
Lots of discussion regarding AJ Preller. Let’s talk about it. I personally think the answer is easy. Should the Padres keep AJ Preller? Why or why not?
“One year soon, the baseball gods will smile on the San Diego Padres and we will have a parade.”
As always, keep the faith🤎💛
Regardless, it was so fun. Rocky, but fun. From the all star break to Fernando’s last HR, I had a blast. Honestly surprised they scraped together 90 wins with that pitching staff. So glad San Diego had home playoff games. I hope the future holds many more💛🤎
You can feel our window closing. Manny and Xander getting older. Back loaded contracts coming up. That’s why this one hurts so much. San Diego wants a champion more than anything.
Our fans deserve it. The city deserves it.
Can’t remember a time when a series felt as unlucky as this one. This one hurts man. Missed opportunities and some bad luck.
Shoutout to the Brewers. Phenomenal pitching staff. They dominated one of the hottest offenses in baseball.
All of the Brewers’ best arms are ready to go.
I’m afraid we have seen the final run the 2026 Padres will score.
Larger sample size here but he seems to be a flyball pitcher. Decent K rate. Low chase rate, doesn’t generate a lot of swing and miss. Generates a lot of soft contact. Heavy usage of his sinker & sweeper.
I think the Padres can do some damage early!
Brewers fans seem to think it’ll be former Padres prospect Robert Gasser on the bump tonight. If so, here are his numbers over his last 5 starts:
27 IP
1.67 ERA
.140 AVG against
0.85 WHIP
25 K’s
10 Walks
Facing the Brewers has been just as annoying as facing the Dodgers. They just string together productive ABs over and over again. Need the Padres to start doing the same.
Most importantly, we need Fernando Tatis Jr. to get out of his funk!
