Seems like our club has not learned its lesson. Final nail.
"I'm just disappointed that a private potential meeting gets out in a public place even before I have a chance to think about what I want to do."

Sorry for any confusion. Just to clear it up- I want to be a one club player and finish at my playing career at Collingwood. I’m open to coaching at another club AFTER My playing days. Collingwood Fam- I’m not going anywhere

Don’t know the assistant coach who has helped to oversee the Swans culture for the last few years which makes his appointment an interesting choice. He must be a no-brainer star to beat Hird. I cannot believe he has the management experience, coaching acumen or leadership skills of Hird but he was on the Presidents wedding party.
@Thomo_Grant thoughts on McVeigh getting the bombers gig Thomo? Seemed to be he was the only one ever really in the running. Feel bad for Hird who I believe was never in the running and should have been told as such
I can’t wait to hear the ‘why’ on the delay, @Andrew12Welsh.. four members here very unlikely to renew in 2027.
"The players are bemused about it. I know, speaking to people around this, there is a level of bemusement around how long this has actually taken."
@CalTwomey unpacks the impact of the delay in Essendon's search for a new coach.

History made in Hobart.
The Mac Point stadium has secured majority support and will pass the Legislative Council.
The stadium has got the magic number of eight votes and so the Tassie Devils WILL enter the competition as the AFL's 19th team.
