The business of #theatre demands you have a completely fortified heart to withstand all the rejection, but the craft of theatre demands your heart be wide open so to create vulnerability and truth. And the effort of sustaining both states is...a lot

Unchecked power corrupts.
Props 2-6 would give Mayor Adams and future mayors more unchecked power for their own interests, weaken checks-and-balances, and take power from everyday New Yorkers.
We can’t let that happen. Use your vote (starting tomorrow!) to #Nix2through6

Hey. Hi. The tests that Trump sent to Putin weren’t just your basic swabs that you have in your home bathroom, they were molecular point-of-care test machines that hospitals desperately needed to rapidly detect infections in a critical time.
The response to the COVID-19 pandemic was hurt by long wait times for central lab PCR tests. In hospitals, these delays caused problems with patient care and led to the spread of infections among patients.
Trump put America last and Americans died.

Thinking about when Adams tried to close libraries on weekends, like, “We would love kids to read but the city just does not have the money 🤷♀️🤪🤷♀️”

Please understand, NYC is spending more than 10 TIMES the amount of the lost fares to try to collect those fares through excessive policing. The main problem is that ppl are poor & the subway should be free. If we stop wasting money on things like this, we could just make it free
