This is so much inspiring. Happy Birthday, John!
So, 50 years old now. I am down a point of Str and Dex from my younger days, but I'm a more capable engineer than ever. I'm noticing more people in their 70s that seem sharp and spry, so I'm looking forward to at least a couple more decades of relevance.
I'm thrilled to announce the immediate availability of our new title "Storyngton Hall" on iOS platform for a selected number of countries: Russia, UK and Canada! Do you love twisted romantic stories and match 3 puzzles? Go for it :) apps.apple.com/ru/app/storyn… – at Penza, Russia
I'm quite amazed with tmux customization and extension capabilities. Very thoughtful application of *nix principles.
I think #TheWitness it's a souls like game in puzzle genre :) It tortures your brain, makes it cry and melt! And what a feeling of catharsis after solving any major puzzle, just like beating a hard boss in Bloodborne! – at Penza, Russia

Playing #Witness. All of a sudden there's a reference to Tarkovsky movie. Absolutely jaw dropping. @Jonathan_Blow I'm astonished. Thank you. – at Penza, Russia
Forget my prev. post "#Unity3d external editor support for #neovim...". It can be way easier! You can create an Automator app with the shell script: /usr/local/bin/nvr --remote +$1 Pick in Unity your Automator app and set externals args as: "$(Line) $(File)" Done!

#Unity3d external editor support for #neovim CLI on MacOS: 1) Install MacVim (used as a bridge between Unity and CLI) 2) Replace contents of /Applications/MacVim.app/Contents/MacOS/MacVim with "/usr/local/bin/nvr --remote +$2 $1" 3) Make sure it's: chmod +x ...

4) In Unity prefs pick MacVim as external editor, set external args as "$(File) $(Line)" 5) Install neovim remote: pip3 install neovim-remote
Dear @elonmusk please consider inventing a cyber compact SUV! I'll be the first in a line! – at Penza, Russia
Migrated our #golang pipeline to modules and started using tableflip instead of grace for graceful server restarts. Looks gooood.

Migrating old coroutine based code to asyc/await using UniTask library. Looks very promising so far. #unity3d

Maybe I'm already a dinosaur but I tend to store my C# code split into modules rather than "class == file". Just like it's usually done for C, Go source code.

Among all my consoles my currently favorite one is...2ds xl :) I no longer care about graphics but rather game design, mechanics and portability. And this is where 2ds shines. – at Penza, Russia

We heavily use #php for build system scripting and also for some tooling. Going to migrate to #Golang for such tasks. – at Penza, Russia
Spent _lots_ of time trying to isolate a bug and write a test for it. The irony is I fixed the bug quite fast but could not verify the fix by a test. – at Penza, Russia
Finished Into The Breach. What a game! I was so lucky to win the final battle with only one health bar left. It was the last enemy's turn when my energy tower all of a sudden resisted an attack! Inexpressible feeling. I remember something similar happened in #FTL final battle :) – at Penza, Russia
Studying Unity's FPS source code. Lots of interesting gems! But..at the same time the whole ECS thing is wat too overcomplicated. I do understand where it's useful but trying to fit it for everything looks a bit like an overkill. Doom3 source code is way more clear! #unity3d #ecs – at Penza, Russia
Enjoying In To The Breach so far! I wonder if enemies make random moves or whether they try to make a clever move so that a player always has a chance to minimize his damage? If the latter it's very smart. – at Penza, Russia
Banner Saga y u so short?!!!! – at Penza, Russia
Finally have time to play Banner Saga. Impressed! – at Penza, Russia
