BREAKING A surrogate mother is fighting to save the baby boy she’s carrying. His life is at stake. McKenna, a single mother in Alaska, became a surrogate to bring her family extra income and help another family have a baby. She applied to Worldwide Surrogacy, was matched with a couple, and became pregnant with a baby boy she calls Gabriel. Everything went smoothly at first… At the 20-week anatomy scan, doctors noticed there was no blood flow through the left side of Gabriel’s heart. A specialist diagnosed him with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS)—a treatable condition. Shortly after the diagnosis, Gabriel’s intended parents requested McKenna abort him. McKenna scheduled appointments at abortion facilities out of state. But she didn’t want to do it… "Every time I thought about having to show up at the clinic, I was hysterical, and I couldn't picture myself reacting or feeling any other way. So I was really scared of how I would view myself as a woman and a mother, how I'd be able to come home to my kids after participating in something like that. But I didn't have the means to be sued over this. I'm a single mom. I can't afford lawyers to fight this. I felt I had no other option, no way out. It was just a horrible feeling." Baby Gabriel would have been killed in a D&E abortion—brutally dismembered with metal forceps, limb from limb. Thankfully, McKenna’s brother stepped in, promising that he would care for McKenna, her children, and even Gabriel. She cancelled the abortion procedure. McKenna got in touch with @LilaGraceRose, and was connected with doctors willing to care for Gabriel after birth. But Gabriel’s intended parents have NOT agreed for him to receive ANY treatment. In fact, they’re suing McKenna for not aborting Gabriel. This precious child is in danger. McKenna is 35 weeks pregnant, preparing to give birth, and has filed for custody to ensure Gabriel receives treatment. "I want to fight for him because he deserves that chance…There's no guarantee; there's not a guarantee with anything. But he deserves a chance of living life outside of my womb. I just really pray he gets that opportunity." McKenna is working with lawyers trying to protect baby Gabriel’s life, but a California court may be able to dictate where she gives birth and which medical team treats her. McKenna and baby Gabriel are victims of the surrogacy industry—which blatantly treats women and babies as commodities instead of humans. Baby Gabriel MUST be given his chance at life. I once had a roommate... Who prayed like he was having convo with someone only he could see. No loud voice. No dramatic gestures. Just silence. And tears. They would fall quietly while he sat on his bed. Eyes closed. Hands folded. But what always confused me was the notebook. It was always beside him. Every time he prayed. He kept it open. And sometimes… he would suddenly stop. Open his eyes. Grab a pen. And write something. Then continue praying like nothing happened. At first, I thought it was strange. Even unnecessary. Until one night I woke up thirsty. I saw him again. Praying. Crying. Writing. Pause. Writing again. Curious, I asked him the next morning. He just smiled and said nothing specific. Months later, I left that apartment. Life moved on. But I never forgot him. Years later, I stumbled into something that looked like his handwriting in a published book of ideas and reflections. And it hit me. Maybe prayers are not only for speaking to God. Maybe they are also for catching what God whispers in between the tears.

When Donald Trump heard Robert Mueller had died he posted “Good, I’m glad he’s dead” When Donald Trump heard Robert Reiner had been brutally murdered along with his wife in his own home… Trump said “I bet he died because he had Trump Derangement Syndrome” When Donald Trump heard Paul Pelosi had been savagely attacked with a hammer, his skull fractured and almost died… Trump got on stage, mocked the attack and everyone laughed. Donald Trump accused 5 Congressional Democrats of Treason… Trump said they should be “Put to Dearth” Donald Trump accused his hand picked Chairman of the Joint Chiefs General Mark Milley of treason… Trump said General Milley should be executed. Trump encouraged his followers to attack the Capitol on January 6th and overturn the election results. His supporters attacked the Capitol, built a Gallow and looked to execute Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi. Trump stood by for 186 Minutes and let the violence ensue. Hundreds of Capitol Police Officers were injured. 4 Capitol Police Officers Died. Trump has encouraged his supporters to “Knock the hell out of them” referencing protestors at his rallies. Trump even stated he pay their legal fees. This is the same motherfucker calling for the firing of Jimmy Kimmel because of a comedy skit. The same motherfucker who just had James Comey arrested for posting a meme on Twitter. If anyone needs to tone down the rhetoric. It’s this piece of shit.

My daughter Annika is proudly autistic and 12 years old. She drew this butterfly from a photo she took herself — every vein, every scale, rendered by hand on a tablet. She signs everything she makes. Dates it. Like she already knows it matters. She's turning 13 tomorrow. Please share this for her birthday. Let's make her day.
