THE GAME HAS OFFICIALLY CHANGED!
Listen up, because the landscape just shifted and there is no going back. If you thought you knew what Broadside was, you weren’t thinking big enough. It’s officially GAME OVER for the status quo.
Here’s the deal:
Drop a comment with your original Broadside NFT.
Watch what happens.
The revolution won't just be televised—it's being built in the Broadside trenches.
Does culture follow art, or art follow culture.
Either way, this called it. What do I mean by "it"?
Everything you see that doesn't make sense, but stupid people think is cool.
A road map for hipster culture, foresight into reality.
Brilliant.

Cynical journalist Dan Ashcroft (Julian Barratt) writes a scathing article calling out the "idiots" around him-only to become an unwilling icon to them.

some thoughts on this:
grateful to the community for coming along for the ride and giving us a chance. fwiw - i still believe in the mission we started, (even if we werent the ones to see it through this time)
to our investors: thank you for the trust. i’m sorry we couldn't deliver the result you backed us for.
the engineering team deserves massive amounts of the credit here. they poured alot into this and stayed incredibly committed even until the final days. they are open to new opportunities (if anyone needs connecting DM me)
we had a platform we believed could change the landscape for IP like Broadside. ultimately we missed this mark. there are many reasons why (reflections and lessons to share for another time) but the responsibility for the outcome is on us.
anyway, i’m proud of what we built and grateful for the lessons. I’ve been going non-stop since 2021, and the landscape (and life) looks very different now. I’m going to take a few months to reflect before deciding what to do next.
☠️🔼
After a lot of thought, we’ve decided to wind down Basejump as a venture-backed company.
We saw strong early growth, but monetization and fundraising in the current gaming market didn’t come together fast enough to continue responsibly.
Broadside will remain live in a slimmed-down, free-to-play form, with OG assets permanently stored on Arweave. Basejump accounts will stay live until March 1 so users can download VRMs created on the platform.
Grateful to everyone who supported the project, and proud of what we built. Broadside lives on ☠️⬆️

Next up is a very rare tape from 35 years ago:
This is @fabioandgroove @ Rage, Heaven May 1991
Taken from the legendary clubnight, this is a very cassette aesthetic tape with some phenomenal selection. Upped this in Feb last year but realised it wasn't on the Kofi. Tracklist in first comment.
Reminder that all mixes uploaded here today go on my Kofi for download tonight.

Wow. 38 years.
Shame to see this go, in most countries I've visited, sifting through the TV channels I'd always be able to watch Trans World sport.
Good bye and thanks
After 38 years, Trans World Sport signs off for the final time at the end of 2025.
Thank you for every story, every athlete, every viewer.
It’s been an honour to share the world of sport with you. 🌍❤️

Me and @hausofhats went to Lisbon, and made this video.
The @HatsSats mint didn't go how we wanted.
But we got this done.

needed a break from what felt like a massive failure.
i'd poured countless hours and funds into making it work and it just didn't happen.
all good...i've learned & that's about all you can do with these things.
me & @p4rt1al still hit Lisbon too. true proof of work.
