We're in Stockholm. You know how there are some places where you think "Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there"? Stockholm is the kind of place that makes you want to live there.

Designer at Vercel explains why junior designers shouldn't put enterprise dashboard concepts in their portfolio They look clean and impressive to most people. But the moment a hiring manager who's actually designed dashboards sees it they know. They've seen it a hundred times. It looks like you grabbed a Figma template. Restyled it and called it your own work. So the hiring manager rules you out. And you'll keep wondering why! 👀 Full conversation on Sneak Peek: youtu.be/WBmGBZS1mgY @tomjohndesign with the hard truth junior designers need to hear👇
Designer at Vercel shows why it's a bad idea to walkthrough Figma files during a portfolio review Zooming in an and out of your Figma files makes it very hard for the hiring manager to follow along Instead it's a better idea to show key design screens and just talk about it 👀 Watch the full interview on Sneak Peek: youtu.be/WBmGBZS1mgY @tomjohndesign shows why he didn't walkthrough his Figma design files during the portfolio review with @vercel👇

One of the other major things I've made @claudeai work on was a horizontal elevator nav that reacts to elements behind it for lightness, just as how Apple iOS 26 works. It's so perfected, I can almost say it works even better than Apple itself for detecting luminance.

Read this if you’re building stuff with Claude Code
I'm Boris and I created Claude Code. I wanted to quickly share a few tips for using Claude Code, sourced directly from the Claude Code team. The way the team uses Claude is different than how I use it. Remember: there is no one right way to use Claude Code -- everyones' setup is different. You should experiment to see what works for you!

The most difficult thing in the world right now is to sell something to designers 😅

Nej tack. I'll skip the new scammy AI tools that take full control of my computer and do stuff that I don't understand what's happening in the background. Maayyybe except Claude Cowork.

We silently launched the Maker Spotlight program on @fountndesign last week. Basically, we are donating our Main Sponsor Slot in the Fountn newsletter to one standout creator every week. Our first-ever maker was a brilliant design systems expert, @menosketiago. His profile and products have been seen by thousands of active designers, developers, and founders, and attracted dozens of clicks. Are you also shipping something cool and want to get more traction? Tailwind lays of 75% of their team. the reason is so ironic: > their css framework became extremely popular w AI coding agents, 75m downloads/mo > that meant nobody would visit their docs where they promoted paid offerings > resulting in 40% drop in traffic & 80% revenue loss
