Tried to buy a packet of biscuits from Worthing @Poundland today only to to be told at the till "Sorry, we can't sell those to you, they're not on our system"! They were on the shelf, with a price advertised in front of them, so why can't you sell them? Not very professional.

Has anybody else found the @Confused_com quotes aren't accurate? They told me I could get @TheAA_UK car insurance for £283.36 but when I clicked on "Buy" it took me to the AA website which then quoted me £366.97, almost 30% higher that I'd been originally quoted. Not impressed.

Really disappointed, I bought a @DunlopBadminton BlackStorm Graphite racket on 5th Feb only for the frame to break whilst playing last night. I know it's not a top-end racket but surely they should last longer than this?

Maybe this might be useful for you @Fasffy ?😂
Any hardcore Rubik’s cube users out there? Has anyone used Cube Lube? To make your puzzle device move better. I remember in the 80’s these thugs got quite competitive.. So it kinda makes sense.. while also kinda bonkers.

I finished reading Landlines by @raynor_winn last night. What a privilege to follow her and Moth on their epic walk. So evocatively written that you feel yourself walking along with them, sharing the highs and lows of their journey. So many thanks for sharing your experiences.

Had a fantastic evening last night at @trinitytheatre listening to @Gigspanner Big Band and @raynor_winn on the SaltLines tour. Such evocative verse and music, plus they all looked to be having such fun playing! Thank you!
I still say this now!

Fantastic day out at @Observatory_Sci in Herstmonceux today with my eldest Godson and a couple of his friends! We loved every minute of it, and this was his 4th visit, my 3rd visit.
Email from @NHSTestTrace asking me to give feedback. Conveniently the link goes to a page which says "A network error has occurred" all week! Link expires today! I guess they'll still claim "we've not had any negative feedback" truthfully as they're not allowing any feedback!

Today marks 11yrs since I had an operation to remove a slipped disc in my neck and replace it with metalwork. The operation was an immediate success, I woke up with no pain for the first time in over 2 years! I'm now able to do just about everything I could before. #ThankYouNHS

For the love of all that is holy if you have a cough or a temperature or feel a bit fluey and short of breath GET A COVID TEST. No, not a lateral flow. I have had to say this to 80% of my patients today. They all seemed surprised. We are doomed. 😭🤦‍♀️

Started this afternoon and couldn't stop, read it from cover to cover in one go! @alex_roddie's writing is beautifully descriptive of the Scottish winter landscape, and of his inner mental landscape too. I felt that I knew the author better by the end of the book. Recommended.
Just received my copy of The Farthest Shore by @alex_roddie in the post today - excited to start reading all about his winter walk along the Cape Wrath Trail. instagram.com/p/CTC_uCjKh2K/…

The 'plan' seems to be to carry on holding public events and large gatherings with little to no mitigations in place, and just hope that you're the lucky one who doesn't die, or who's loved ones don't die, because of it!
It was reported that Boris Johnson would ‘accept’ 50,000 deaths a year from covid. This last week saw 983 deaths, which, if continued, translates to > 51,000 deaths a year. So what’s the plan? inews.co.uk/news/boris-johns…
The Govt plans a 'firebreak' for October, and still people continue to plan events as if COVID has gone away because they're bored of following restrictions, despite over 700 deaths per week! Reckless & irresponsible.
