On May 3, 2016, near the town of Tel Skuf, Iraq, more than 100 ISIS fighters launched a massive surprise assault using armored vehicles and suicide vehicle bombs. Charles Keating IV, affectionately known to his teammates as "Chuck Heavy," was part of a Quick Reaction Force (QRF) sent to reinforce a team of U.S. military advisors pinned down by the attack.
As local partner forces withdrew under overwhelming enemy pressure, the Navy SEALs stood their ground. Chuck led from the front, repeatedly exposing himself to intense enemy fire from a rooftop to deliver precision sniper fire and direct rocket strikes against the advancing enemy.
His fearless actions helped turn the tide during the grueling 14-hour battle, eliminating numerous enemy fighters and helping save the lives of his fellow SEALs before he was mortally wounded.
Those who were with him remembered that even in his final moments, he remained true to the warrior they knew. For his extraordinary heroism and selfless sacrifice, Charles Keating IV was posthumously awarded the Navy Cross, the nation's second-highest military decoration for valor.
His teammates gave him the nickname "Chuck Heavy" because he lived every aspect of life at full intensity whether surfing, competing in athletics, training, or standing in the most dangerous place on the battlefield to protect his brothers.
Please share this tribute to honor the memory of a courageous American warrior and help keep the legacy of "Chuck Heavy" alive. Long live the Brotherhood.

I just knew him as my shooting partner in DEVGRU selection. He was a champion wrestler, humble, friendly and put in max effort. I enjoyed having him as my partner through such an amazing chain of experiences.
He went on to achieve even greater things. I’m not surprised. #LLTB 🇺🇸

Tim Szymanski started in the surface Navy, then did what a handful of driven officers do — he volunteered for the SEALs and never looked back.
He commanded SEAL Team Two. He commanded a squadron at the Naval Special Warfare Development Group. He led an O-6-level joint task force in Afghanistan. On August 3, 2016, he succeeded Rear Admiral Brian Losey as commander of Naval Special Warfare Command, taking charge of every SEAL, SWCC boat crew, and support sailor in the force.
Later promoted to vice admiral, he went on to serve as deputy commander of U.S. Special Operations Command — the number-two special operator in the entire American military.
Szymanski also left a quieter legacy: as a flag officer, he pushed the special operations community to confront the invisible wounds of war, establishing cognitive baselining and brain-health initiatives for operators and their families.
A warrior who fought for his people long after the shooting stopped.

Sometimes, standing up against evil will cost you.
Last year around this time, we had a second encounter with our Muslim neighbor, which led to physical threats of harm to us.
We drove to the sheriff’s department to report it, but they had already called, lying to them and saying we threatened them.
My only threat was actually a promise: that one day Jesus Christ is coming back, and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord!
The encounter led to my husband getting a protection order against him, because they lied in court under oath (because they don’t care about our laws)!
Since then, they have called the police on us for trying to pull into our driveway, and for singing God Bless the USA within earshot of them (to which my husband was arrested for violating the protection order)!
Look at what’s happening in Europe, and don’t be naive in thinking it can’t happen in the USA.
They are laying the groundwork here in America, so open your eyes and take a stand before it’s too late!
I will continue to stand my ground!

For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The crowds learned that Jesus and disciples had retreated to Bethsaida to rest, and followed him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing. (Luke 9:11)

After Naaman was healed of leprosy, he returned to Elisha and offered him gifts of silver, gold & clothing to express his gratitude. But Elisha refused to accept anything, showing that God’s healing was not something to be bought or sold.
However, Elisha’s servant Gehazi secretly followed Naaman and asked for gifts by falsely claiming they were needed for two visitors. Naaman gladly gave him the gifts and Gehazi hid them at home. When he returned, Elisha questioned him and Gehazi lied about where he had been.
Elisha exposed his dishonesty and declared that Naaman’s leprosy would cling to him. Gehazi left with leprosy, suffering the consequences of his greed and deception.
2 Kings 5:16
“The prophet answered, ‘As surely as the LORD lives, whom I serve, I will not accept a thing.’”
Gehazi had the opportunity to act with honesty, but he allowed greed to guide his choices. His story reminds us that a dishonest gain can cost us far more than we imagine. Choose integrity even when nobody seems to be watching. What we gain through honesty is worth more than anything obtained through deception. 🙏❤️✝️

God does not bless us by giving us every earthly thing we think we want, quite the opposite, He blesses us by teaching us that the earthly things should Not be our deep focus or desire, and to be grateful for that which we have.
