I can’t begin to describe how much joy I’ve gotten from a brief amount of Marathon beta played this weekend. Anyone complaining about the “font slop” wasn’t there for the original series, because it’s given me a huge nostalgia rush.
I’m on the verge of missing the opportunity to dress as Trillian and throw a Hitchhiker’s Guide themed party for my 42nd next month…
Because I’m a woman on the internet, the algorithm sends me content such as “things you can do to glow up in a month.” Let me tell you that half of them I was already doing, and the other half was unscientific nonsense. So I guess this is peak! Next stop: stagnation and decline!
Overdue to share photos of my Zoe from The Krotons make for @gallifreyone this year. (Details in replies!)
This was an early layout for the trim done in Illustrator, not too far off from the final version. And once again, thankful for my friend Molly for shaping up my wigs!

Happy Space Mardi Gras to those who celebrate. Remember to wear your festive head gear, as long as it is of the period!
Love that our group was also having our last dinner together at the table in the background! (And you’ve caught me in classic Mab mode, talking with my hands)
ust over a week before I fly out to @gallifreyone, and I wouldn’t be me if I wasn’t still very deep in costume creation mode. (Those white bits are just paper! 😬)
Very excited to share that I’ll be speaking at Gally this year about my costume making process! gallifreyone2025.sched.com/e… @gallifreyone #gally1 @sched
Carrying my renewed love of baths from last year into this one. May I suggest taking long soaks, sinking deeply in, and reading books while enveloped in bubbles.

A 2016 throwback to working on my friend John’s film in Austin TX: when my job was literally neck breaking! Still staring at monitors, but much more ergonomically.
I harp endlessly about the shows and books I grew up on being an isolating choice in the place I grew up. But I just tidied up these shelves, including books I’ve had for decades, and it charms to be able to put so many faces and connections to the names now.
