Update: The current verified total frozen amount is around $3 billion.
Our teams continue to work closely with law enforcement, issuers, blockchain intelligence firms and industry partners to trace and freeze additional assets.

Just found a zero day
If you right click on an executable on Windows, select run as administrator, it will run as administrator
I'm calling it Program2Shell

I'll be the first to admit I'm mediocre at exploit development, but I am in contact with enough extremely talented exploit developers to say this for certain:
Anyone claiming they were "easily" able to generate a working php2shell exploit with AI is either:
a) a world-class exploit developer with an extreme case of imposter syndrome.
b) currently looking at some very confident-sounding but wrong LLM output.
I'm rather certain it's the latter based on the number of AI-hallucinated exploits I've seen posted on GitHub. Threat actors are also blasting my honeypot network with "php2shell" exploits that not only don't work, but aren't even within 10,000 miles of anything to do with how the exploit actually works.
I've seen the same technique from the attached image in multiple alleged "php2shell exploits", including one on GitHub with over 100 stars. Problem is, it's not php2shell, nor is it even a vulnerability at all. It's a technique known as "session poisoning", which can be leveraged to exploit local file inclusion (LFI) vulnerabilities in PHP apps (not PHP itself).
The only thing it has in common with CVE-2026-109618/CVE-2026-109619 is they both use the "PHP_SESSION_UPLOAD_PROGRESS" feature. And mitigation advice for both issues reference setting "session.upload_progress.enabled" to "Off".
People are shoving loose details of the vulnerability into LLMs, the LLMs are keying in on the "PHP_SESSION_UPLOAD_PROGRESS" string, then generating session poisoning code that has nothing to do with the actual CVE. And because the people doing this have absolutely no idea what they're doing, they're confident enough to post their "proof of concept exploit" to GitHub and share it on social media.
So if you see people talking about "session poisoning + LFI" it's likely their LLM hallucinated an exploit based on a 2018 blog by Orange Tsai talking about a local file inclusion attack vector.
What's even worse is that "security researchers" are then using LLMs to triage these exploitation attempts, falling victim to the same hallucinations, then confirming there is ongoing mass-exploitation (there currently isn't).
The actual real exploit is very difficult to exploit, and so far I've not seen anyone successfully get it working on more than a handful of PHP version with highly-specific configurations.
LLMs are useful tools in the hands of skilled professionals, but for others, they're often just a Dunning-Kruger accelerator.
Anthropic just dropped Project Glasswing — they pointed an unreleased AI model at every major OS and browser and found thousands of zero-days. One bug in OpenBSD sat there for 27 years. The scary part? Less than 1% got patched. Finding vulns is about to get stupid easy. Fixing them is still slow as hell. If you're in security and you're not paying attention to this, you're about to have a very bad quarter. The report drops and every red team on the planet is going to be using this playbook.
Everybody's talking about AI agents right now and for good reason. They're not chatbots anymore — they're actually doing work. Running workflows, booking stuff, handling ops. Amazon just launched a health AI agent for Prime members. Microsoft is dropping $10B in Japan to train a million developers. This isn't hype anymore it's just Tuesday. If you want to learn how to build one yourself I put a free course together: thezaraai.gumroad.com/l/qsta…
VIBECODED PHONE OS NOOOOO
New Robinhood phishing chain that's kinda beautiful:
1. Attacker creates an RH account using the Gmail dot trick of your email (same inbox, different address)
2. Sets device name to HTML
3. RH's "unrecognized activity" email renders the device name unsanitized (html injection)
The result is a real email from noreply@robinhood.com, DKIM pass, SPF pass, DMARC pass, with a phishing CTA
Just because it's real, doesn't mean it's safe... $HOOD
OpenAI just closed a $122B funding round at an $852B valuation. Meanwhile most businesses still can't get a chatbot to answer basic customer questions. The gap between AI hype and AI execution is where the money is. Stop watching from the sidelines and start building. Free course to get you started: thezaraai.gumroad.com/l/qsta…
I get asked all the time how to get started with AI. So I made a free course — you'll actually build an AI agent step by step. No theory dumps, just building.

Unpopular opinion:
Most "AI for cybersecurity" content is written by people who've never run a SOC shift, triaged an incident at 2am, or briefed a CISO under fire.
I have. The use cases I share are real.

The question isn't "should I use AI?"
It's "how do I use it in a way that actually compounds over time?"
The answer is an agent that knows you. Here's how to build one:
