Before this, Secrets let you export passkeys, but no other apps could import them. Now, the new “Credential Exchange” standard enables direct, secure transfers—no file juggling required. 📂➡️🔐
One big hurdle for passkey adoption? No easy way to transfer them. Apple’s new API in iOS 18.2 & macOS 15.2 changes that—& Secrets already supports it! Now, moving passkeys & passwords between apps is smoother than ever.
🚀 Secrets 4.4 is here! Two big improvements:
🔑 Credential Exchange API – Seamless password & passkey transfers
🔢 Password Character Indices – Easier logins for sites that ask for specific password characters
Let’s dive in! 🧵
Secrets 4.3, among other features, adopts new API in Sequoia and iOS 18 to autofill your verifications codes in Safari and other apps. Read all about it on our blog post:
